The overall product quality is good. It is very easy to install it and link each accessory to the main unit.Set different zones is also easy and you can crate several methods of activation ( only doors, only motion sensors, fully armed, ecc...).However when I tried to register it for the online account the nightmare begun, it isn't recognized by the standard procedure. Then I contacted the customer support which sent me an email with a different procedure, it didn't worked.Called again they asked me to re-link the IP gateway to the main unit, after following the procedure it still didn't worked.In the third call to the customer service I was told that my MAC address was sent to the Server team (apparently in Taiwan) and I should hear back in 48 hours. It didn't happened so I called again and I was told that they lost my data and they never sent any detail to the server team. So I had to give all my data again and till today, more than one week before my first contact with the support team, I don't have a solution and my system is still not working.It is a very poor customer service and they are not sure about what they are doing, it is very frustrating to have to go through all this after buying a brand new system and have paid almost 300 quid for it!Very disappointing!

A good product with very poor reliability. Will work occasionally - Mobile app will crash for no apparent reason. Last update is more than 9 months ago. Other than a visual external deterrant, do not expect much more.

This system seamed to have everything I was looking for. Unfortunately IP Gateway turned out to be faulty (orange light, didn`t connect to internet and kept disconnecting from control panel). It took really long to replace. Once all up and running it is stable and reliable. Only downside is formware/software.Can be accessed via internet - doesn`t work with IE11 at the moment. You can view via camera on the phone or via PC. You can record via PC only. It records automaticaly if alarm is trigerred (within same zone as the camera) and will record 30 sec movie.It will send the email to the conctact list in the same time.Camera records on SD card installed within itself but it has few bright leds so if there is an intruder in the night most likely will be attracted to it and steal the camera and the recording.Android app - very slow and doesn`t let you record just take snapshots. Those can be accessed only on sd card directly. Sometimes camera cannot be accessed on Android but restarting it or accessing the system via PC resolves the issue.Positives: Stable, CCTV, EMail comms, accessible via InternetNegatives: Doesn`t work with all browsers, Android App slow, Camera with bright leds, Camera records only on SD cardIn summary it is ok but update of firmware and software would make it really worth it

I have had this sytem for 18 months. Contrary to the experience of some reviewers, I find this to be an excellent system to which I have added other modules, so it is running 3 x door contacts, 3 x PIR, 2 x power sockets 1 x camera. The only reason that I have not given it 5 stars is that the IP gateway router is weak and has a habit of failing, however both replacements I have received have been supplied free of charge by Friedland. This only seems to affect web access and the alarm system contnues to function as it should.You get what you pay for and you can pay a lot a lot for an alarm system; I think this is a very practical and good value system for the money.

top quality as all friedland alarms.have to say it was a very easy install and works well with wireless. highly recommended.

Dreadful! Hideously cheap electronics in plastic cases that may work for 20min a time, 3 times a year. It is unacceptable that this is being sold as a home security system. At least customer services are quick to replace faulty parts, even if with other faulty parts.

Main control panel works fine...but remote monitoring/alarm control unreliable...ie IP gateway consistently drops connection with the internet.I have this problem from day 1 and 3 months later with numerous emails and "buck passing" , I have been left on my own to sort the problem out. I have offered to return the gateway in exchange for another unit but got no response to this suggestion. I must say at this stage their after care is dreadful and their guarantee worthless.

I was confused at first, but once I realised that the full user guide was available online, then it was easy. Get the online user guide first and follow that. Also make sure that you BOTH set up an online account AND download the desktop software.Once you've done the reading and set up the account, the hardware is really easy to set up and install. A few bits of drilling and it's done, but do plan your layout beforehand.The real beauty of this is it's wireless, so installation of the hardware is just so easy. The software is a bit harder, and I suspect that that's where many people have fallen down. I haven't had the problems that others outline in the reviews, but I did not that the Gateway light goes Orange when running the desktop software, and this might be why some have had difficulties connecting.
