It’s going to be a while before I am hiking again, as I recently broke both ankles and currently have a giant boot on one side and a cast on the other. This said, I had to find myself a new wardrobe in a hurry if I ever wanted to wear anything more than a pair of wide legged sweatpants. I found these and they are perfect—both legs can come in/out without even taking the book off if I want, they don’t wrinkle, and are super comfortable. Hopefully I’ll be able to use them for the hiking in the future, for which the lightweight material I’m sure will be great!!

This review is for the Baleaf Wide Leg Capri UPF50+ pants, green, xx-large. I usually wear an XXL in pull on pants, 17/18 in jeans, and XL (XXL is usually a little too big) in leggings. Approximate measurements are 41” waist, 51” hips, and an inseam of 30” to the ground.These pants are very high waisted- about 3.5 inches above my belly button. They have a seam that runs vertically up from the crotch, making them look extra high waisted and, ahem, producing a camel toe. I would say that they do fit true to the size chart. However the overall fit of the stomach is a little clingy and snug on me and emphasizes by round-but-not-pregnant belly more than other wide leg pants that are of a somewhat similar style. The leg hits below mid-calf on my 5’6” person. The pant leg is over 15” wide at the thigh and about 12” wide at the bottom. The green color is a soft and cool toned moss green. The fabric does not have a lot of stretch, is thin and lightweight, and has that polyester feel of a quick dry fabric. Overall these pants are perfectly fine and are of a good quality that I’ve come to expect from Baleaf clothes however the style is not quite right for me.

These seem to be very basic, lightweight, comfy and modest. I hope I like them as well as I think I will.

The back of thigh is wide

These are a nice light weight fabric. They are perfect for warmer weather. I like the big pockets but I feel they run large. You may want to think about ordering a size down. All in all, I am happy with this product and will use these a lot while camping in the summer.

I got a size up and it is so comfortable. Love the length and flow of the leg.

I picked these in a large and could have went with a medium for sure, yet I can still wear them. More of a summer weight fabric so I have been wearing them in the house. They are incredibly soft and silky feeling. Light weight as well, and very breathable. Although my husband says I look like my mother in them. A lounge around pant or gardening for sure. I love Baleaf clothing, especially their jogging Bermuda shorts. These pants are comfortable yet not very form fitting.

Excellent fit (as expected. ) Great swim cover up (bottom) or beach wear for sun protection or going out- casual restaurant or beach bicycle ride. Green color muted, as pictured- sage/gray green, subtle and light. Not too warm nor wind transparent, perfect for Florida beaches. I would purchase additional colors.
