As long as you are not too worried about the looks, this is the one for you.I've tried other brands... don't bother. I've had one of these that has lasted me at at least 5+ years, and I still wear it every time I go kiteboarding. The strap comfort is a very big deal. This strap doesn't bother my ears or chin like others do. The flap on the back is long enough (truthfully, I wish it was maybe 1-2 inches longer, since I feel like sometimes I may have a teeny tiny gap with exposed skin between my shirt collar and the flap).I often do long downwinders that I stay in the water for hours at a time. This is a vital part of my set up.I was now buying a hat for my brother who is now getting into kitesurfing. I tried a few of the newer and cheaper brands... don't bother. Spend $10 more and get the comfort that you won't regret and will last you a lifetime.Big thank you to this brand <3

My 9 year old son loves this hat. I don't even have to ask him to put it on. He surfs and is on the water all year long. He has gotten sunburnt repeatedly wearing other caps and visors, so he is now happy to avoid the pain.

The hat is as expected. Strap could be longer.
