This item has been a game changer in our lives! It makes it possible to almost always collect a sample to put in a specimen cup the night before, refrigerate it, and then present it at the appointment the next day - without all that in office stress, and in our case, usual failure. It’s pretty sturdy in my opinion. I didn’t purchase the cheaper ones. Because they said they were flimsy so went ahead and paid a little more even though some reviews said this one was flimsy as well. Guess it’s not hard as a piece of wood but for what it’s intended to do it it worked just fine!!!

Not sure why these plastic specimen collection containers are so expensive, but at least they are solid. Makes patients feel better about needing to use them.

I like that they are very strong and deep. You can sterilize and reuse them for a long time. They are not thin like regular disposable ones. I would absolutely recommend them.

I can pee in the bowl and pour into an empty laundry jug until I can empty it. I do suggest using a garbage bag in case humidity makes it stick to you, lol. Great option for disabled campers.

Product is very thin and collapsed in the toilet, but worked when doubled up. However they were clear and not white as pictured. I had to put white medical tape over the measurements on the one container in order to read the numbers on the inner one. Delivery was also delayed.

OK collecting a specimen can be embarrassing and stressful. The paper items that come with medical test kits for home use given by you doctor are flimsy. The slant pan is easier to control and if you need a "redo" not a problem.

Sturdy, and definitely can be reused if cleaned properly. Boiling hot water, all you need to sanitize. Good for elderly or anyone with limited mobility that can't stand to collect samples the traditional way. Highly recommend.

I've read several reviews saying that these are flimsy and I've seen the pictures corroborating this. However, mine are solid white plastic and quite sturdy. I'm very pleased with the quality and I'm still using my first pee hat.I use mine standing up, so I can't speak to the stability of the hat while sitting down. Mine has never fallen in the toilet during use. Could it be more secure, probably, but a lot depends on the design of your toilet.I'm very happy with this purchase.
