However the jaw opening is unparalleled and the grip section is terrific for tightening zip ties. It’s flat ground tip was likely chosen to protect the surface beneath a zip tie while cutting. This limits some precision use but makes sense given its intended application. Its head is also angled to allow easy access for flush cuts against walls or in tight spaces.While the KNIPEX offers exceptional quality, the narrow opening jaws severely limit its versatility. However, for the right application the KNIPEX would be great for delicate work in a compact form factor. The grip, spring and precision tip are terrific. The hinge action is unrivaled. For a tradesman tool, the lack of a tip protector or spring lock is a mistake. However, none of these tools offer a lock for transport.Both the 7” and 8” Tsunoda cutters offer the same quality and features with the 8” adding a bolt-stop which can be used to promote blade protection or to execute partial depth cuts. The 8” also offers a slightly larger/longer cutter which could be beneficial for cutting large plastic crate-ties.

Very well built. Zero play in the joint but it operates smoothly and easily. Cuts zip ties so flush you can't even feel the cut edge at the head. Worth every cent.

This is replacing a pair of USA-made Klein flush cutters, which were very cheap but not actually flush-- the blades were close, but definitely misaligned.This slightly more expensive pair of pliers has absolutely flawlessly aligned blades that are very sharp, making easy work of even the massive zip-ties we've been using for securing 3 conductor 750 kcmil cables to tray, and the gripping teeth on the blade speeds up the process, letting you quickly tighten and cut zip ties with a single tool.This is probably the most efficent way of dealing with zip-ties, short of a zip-tie gun, and even then, this'll work great in small panels and confined spaces. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with a bunch of zip-ties.

Quality flush cutter that has grip to pull zip tie snug. Buy these to prevent yourself from looking like you got attacked by a cat after working near a wiring harness.

Good quality flush cuts. Just don't fall for the "6-pack" part of the title.

Use them for cable management for work. Quality is japanese standard along with the size being just right. I like that they can be used to grip the end of the zip tie so you get more leverage to pull it tighter.

I already love this thing. This is a tool you never knew how much you needed until you find out it exists and is better than what you've been doing all these years. I learned about it on Reddit, bought it, and now love it. Never use pliers and side cutters on zip ties like a peasant again. These have a grabbing part to pull them tight and cut flush without leaving the tiny bit sticking out to cut you like side cutters do. Just buy them. You'll be happy you did.It's worth noting that these are the KBN-150 and the size is perfect. There are three sizes and I wondered if the biggest would be too big. I read other reviews of the smaller ones saying they wished they got this one instead. Getting the biggest, I can't imagine ever wanting a smaller one. This seems like exactly what you'd pick if you saw the three versions on a shelf at a store.

The media could not be loaded.  Ho atteso questo prodotto per più di 2 mesi, e appena mi è arrivato l'ho provato ed ho ordinato subito la sostituzione!Il motivo è ben visibile nel video, ossia che a stento taglia la carta ed è dura da fare schifo!Si è mollata giusto un pelo durante la prove di taglio ed è una vergogna per un prodotto nuovo!Se questo è il "Made in Japan" fa davvero schifo e possono tenerseli li i loro prodotti costosissimi che sono in realtà solo spazzatura!Attendo la sostituzione ed eventualmente aggiornerò la recensione, ma per ora è un vero disastro e sono estremamente pessimista e deluso!

These are amazing little pliers that are wickedly sharp (be warned). Perfectly flat and more than capable of cutting cable ties as these are really intended for. Would buy again

This tool is great, never even knew I needed it until I used it, I’ve been cutting my ties with sidies for ever like a pleb. I ended up purchasing the 150mm after the 100mm pair as it was smaller than I realised, this size is perfect.
