Yahtzee Words, Family Word Game Version of Yahtzee

I bought this game due to our love of Yahtzee and scrabble. This game is fun and challenging at the same time. It tests your knowledge and makes you think. We enjoy playing this game. I am so glad I bought it.

I love yachtzee so I thought I would give this a try. I LOVE it and so does everyone I play it with. I ordered 3 more games for gifts. Highly recommend!

Now this is fun! A lot more thinking required than just regular Yahtzee.

Gave as a Christmas gift to a friend. Way harder than regular Yahtzee and helps with word building skills.

Fun twist on the traditional Yahtzee game . Easy to learn and jump right into play. Basic set/componets so value could be slightly better. Could be played on the go by using the box top as a spot to roll the dice.

We like this game because it combines luck with word-making skill. We play one game daily and find it's a fine diversion and stimulating -- keeps our ancient grey matter sparking. We've simplified the scoring by ignoring the confusing highlighted bonus lines at the bottom. Another plus is that it is small -- it's easy to store and takes up little space.

We loved playing this game, but it has some problems. The box is huge considering the size of the contents. There’s a dice cup, seven dice, and a skimpy score pad (18 double-sided sheets). What a waste of space. The contents will all fit in a quart-sized zipper bag! Although our game has seven dice, there is no D, J, Q, or R, but there are two identical dice. I’ll report this to the company and ask for an exchange.

Regular Yahtzee is a favorite game in our family, and this one has definitely given us some challenges! Not as fast-paced as regular version since we do not hold players to a time limit!. Adults and teens in the family have both enjoyed this!

I bought this for family game nights, and it's been a lot of fun. If you like word games, this is a nice change from the usual board games. The rules are easy to learn, so we were playing within a few minutes. It has enough strategy to keep it interesting, but it's still simple enough that everyone can join in. Games don't take too long either, which is nice when you want to play more than one round. A little trickier than the original. It's become one of those games we keep reaching for, and I'm really glad I picked it up.

This is perfect if you enjoy Yahtzee and word games. The game runs longer than regular Yahtzee, but it's fun and the right amount of challenging.

Was super excited about this, as I come from the yahtzee generation.. where thays all our parents did and taught us to do.. So of course I had to try it. I like it but I'm not Woo Hoo about it.. It can be a tough game. Exact same as yahtzee original Except, you make words. Vowels and consonants..
