The berry flavor is really superior to the orange, in my humble opinion. I also learned online that you can mix it with very cold water, more water than the minimum, and drink it through a straw, and it’s actually quite good. Comparable to a glass of Mio.

I'am sick and tired waiting months. and lady luck for the lowest price of $30 or $35 dollars ( which is still too HIGH a price for the amount and flavor ) to come along. Why cant Amazon buy this item at bulk and and sell it at a reasonable price instead of having an auction for it . Some of us Hate the orange flavor, but LOVE the berry flavor , but why do why we have to pay the penalty????? I know that Metamucil is slow at getting it out ( I've called them ) the demand is there . Quit ripping off a needed medical item !!

I have been taking Metamucil for years but was interested in something besides the original orange. For some reason the lemon flavored option didn't seem to be as effective. This is the perfect alternative. Love the taste. I have not seen this one in stores yet. Will purchase more.

Product is easy to use And works great

Actually tastes pretty good, which is great because I thought I'd hate the fruit flavor. Easy to mix, get extra fiber in you, I am pleased with the product.

Great Product , works as promised and is sugar free

This flavor is horrible. There is a blend of berry (great!), with notes of vanilla and chalk(??). It was the weirdest combination and an unpleasant one. I usually drink the sugar free orange flavor and that's fine - like McDonald's orange drink. I've tried the lemonade flavor and that was not very lemony but also fine. This is just bad. If I were a smoothie drinker I might be able to disguise it, but it's bad on its own. Thank goodness you're supposed to chug this, I couldn't have gotten it down any other way.

I don't care for the orange flavored fiber at all, but this tastes good. Normally I get unflavored and add crystal light, so this saves me some effort. The only drawback is that I can't concentrate or dilute the fiber per ounce as much, since that changes the flavor. Personally I find 2 teaspoons per 8oz to be the max dilution I can handle, making it not too flavorful to be chugged while still being just flavorful enough to help me overcome the somewhat odd texture of the fiber. It's best to add this to mildly cold water, mix well (I shake it vigorously in a water bottle), and drink immediately. If it's mixed well in cooler water at the right dilution and you don't wait too long to drink it, the fiber is almost unnoticeable. From my doctor and my own knowledge as an evolutionary biologist: For those of you who are just starting fiber, it's important to not start with the full dose. Doing so can shock your digestive system and have the opposite of the intended effect. Ramp up from one teaspoon, taking it daily (best in the evening) adding an additional teaspoon each week until you reach 4 teaspoons (a tablespoon, the recommended dose). When used regularly and correctly, daily fiber can be a life changer. Our gut microbiome is an integral part of our digestive system. It evolved with our species, and we need to feed it what it evolved to eat!

Great product but very expensive . Will need to look for a bargain elsewhere.

I waited a really long time for this delivery and unfortunately, it doesn't work as the regular one. E.g. For the regular metamucil (w sugar) that I get in the shops here I only need 1 teaspoon. For this sugar free one, I need 2 teaspoons. Not sure why, but I don't like that I need to use double quantity for it to work.

Not sure if this stuff does what it suggests. In theory it should make you full. If, for example you leave this alone in a glass of water for a few minutes you'll come back to a thick goopey sludge which I should imagine would make you feel very full very quickly. I should also imagine that given the way it retains the water that it would definitely help your basic working of going to the toilet etc. Trouble is I didn't feel that it was clearing everything out nor making me feel 'lighter' and 'better'. Maybe on some level it's doing a great job and I can't see how it isn't but I just wasn't feeling it. Maybe because I had no issues to begin with. Either way it's not unpleasant to drink. Don't wait till it thickens though. It's like drinking a thick shake at that point that tastes of water ... makes me wonder though .... make it with mils and add some nice flavouring .... thick shake?
