Edit: I think the bearings in this kit may not be on the MX8 tight enough. They shouldn’t be easy to pull off and on and mine were. I’m having a problem with my cleaner not climbing walls and turning around. I checked and replaced all other causes. I’m going to try brand name bearings to see if that helps. The other items in this kit seem to be working great.I watched a YouTube video on how to replace the parts of my MX8 Elite. These parts work perfectly in our cleaner! It’s like a brand new machine. The treads went on easily. The drive shafts were so easy to remove and install. The cleaner flaps fit perfectly too. You simply snap them in place. Everything fit so well. Highly recommend this repair kit. Save yourself some money!

This kit is very close to the OEM Zodiac maintenance kit, but a significantly better value. In order to compare, I purchased the OEM kit to compare to this one. I found that almost all of the parts were almost indistinguishable. I've attached a picture of the sweepers, which appear very similar except for the Zodiac stamp and slight color difference. This was true of the majority of the parts... almost identical.The only reason I rate these as 4 star is the tire tracks are made of a harder, less flexible rubber than the OEM kit I purchased. I would worry about them placing strain on the gears more than the OEM parts due to the rigidity and will not be installing them.The other parts I received I installed side-by-side with the OEM parts. If I notice any difference in their performance over time, I will update this review.

This tune up kit fits perfectly my mx8 pool cleaner. After awhile my pool cleaner needs some parts replaced to run smoothly and be for effective. In my opinion, this kit has all the necessary parts that are needed to get my mx8 going like new. Overall, i love this kit and would highly recommend it to anyone who has mx8 pool cleaner.

As parts on my MX8 have worn over time it became apparent that some of the parts needed to be replaced. This set is perfect as it comes with everything you'd need to swap out and tune up your sweeper. Price also seems to be comparable to if you were to buy everything separately.

Didn’t get to try all the parts. Got as far as the rubber tire things and they are too stiff and teeth don’t seem to grip correctly. I’ll give 2 stars for benefit of parts I didn’t try before we just decided to buy new cleaner.
