This is the easiest thing I’ve ever had to do with canning. I usually do freezing instead of canning, but now I’m going back to canning. It was so simple and it only took about 40 seconds and it was sealed. It will accommodate wide mouth and small mouth, mason jars and it comes complete with everything you see in the picture. The price was great and I’m going to order another one as a Christmas gift. I highly recommend this. It comes with instructions, but you don’t really need them. It is also packed with extra seals, which was nice and this is rechargeable.

I love the size and ease of use. It works on small and wide mouth jars. I've already saved money by vacuum sealing nuts, which are expensive. I believe I have already saved in products what I spent on this device. I highly recommend it! It even charges up quickly and keeps the charge through 3 uses (and it still had lots of power).

The media could not be loaded. I can't believe I never thought to buy this mason jar vacuum sealer sooner. It is a well made vacuum sealer that's durable, easy to use and clean. I used it to preserve half an apple I cut up for my grandson to eat later, so I put it in a mason jar and sucked the air out in 30 seconds. I put the jar in the fridge, and couldn't believe it was still fresh the next morning, zero browning as fruit does once oxidized. So now I know this is exactly how I will store some produce, as well as other open jars I keep refrigerated once opened from the canned goods I've preserved. It even fits both regular and wide mouth jars. I highly recommend this vacuum sealer for yourself or a gift.

Excellent product. Works as advertised, with easy operation instructions. No failures in sealing over 20 quart jars. Makes storing dry goods very easy and safe. Fast sealing and easy to switch between regular and wide mouth jars. Very satisfied with this purchase. Highly recommend.

I've been using this for over a month to seal jars of freeze dried foods. Works great - love the ease of using it for regular or wide mouth jars. Also, holds a charge for a long time. In the month and a half - I've only charged it once. Great value, would highly recommend.

I love how easy & quick this is. Used it for crackers, noodles, flour, sugar so far.It’s very compact to store also. Love it!

Was skeptical at first, but this has far exceeded expectations. The sealer works exceptionally and is easy to use. Works on normal and wide mouth jars. Just put your stuff in the jar, put the lid on top, put the sealer on and press the button, does all the work. Stops when complete and all you need to do is remove the sealer from the top. I have only had one lid come off when removing the sealer, and it was a bad gasket on the lid. Would buy again or give as a gift.

I store absolutely everything in glass mason jars since losing most of my cellar to mice. This vacuum allows you to suck the air out and seal the disks on jars without needing to can or heat process the jars. Obviously this is not recommended for wet foods or to replace the canning process that kills bacteria, but instead is ideal for dry goods like herbs and spices that don’t require canning but retain better flavour or textures when vacuum sealed. The adapter makes it easy to seal both standard and wide mouth jars in seconds, and can do dozens if not hundreds of jars on a single charge. My entire pantry is now in glass and this vacuum makes it easy to re-seal jars as they are used and returned to the cupboard, keeping all my ingredients at their freshest for as long as possible! Even things like brown sugar that would usually clump have kept their texture nicely in the vacuum sealed jars!

I tried to like this product. Following the instructions, I tried it many times on a regular mason jar - on a few different days - on both hard, flat surfaces, as well as on lazy, not-so-stable surfaces. I tried enough times that I actually had to recharge the battery a couple of times since I’d worn it down in my efforts…But I still couldn’t seem to get it to work.After that, I tried this on a wide mouth mason jar. I had to try a few times before I finally got it to work. (The time I got it to work, I just left it on the jar and let it stop on its own…and POP! It worked!) I don’t have any other wide-mouth mason jars to test it on again, though, so I haven’t been able to try it again to see if I can replicate the results on a wide-mouth jar.But after my success with the wide mouth mason jar, I was feeling buoyed with confidence and tried it a few more times on a smaller jar…but still to no avail. I’m honestly not sure if I’m doing something wrong on my end or if there’s something wrong with the gadget I received.That said, I like that this comes with two sizes of jar lids that you can use based on the size of the mouth of your jar. I wish they’d also included some jar rings, as well, though.Therefore, I’m giving this 3 stars instead of 1 or 2…but only on the off-chance that maybe I’m somehow doing something wrong on my end. (I don’t really understand why I seem to be the only one who is having difficulty getting this to work, though…)[I’ve included one of several video clips I took to demonstrate. Spoiler alert: It’s NOT a happy ending.]

I store just about everything in mason jars these days, and this vacuum sealer has made life so much easier. It obviously isn’t a replacement for canning and certainly not for wet foods etc. but it does a superb job of removing air in both regular and wide mouth mason jars to prolong shelf life of dry goods, but also to prolong the life of fruits and veggies you store in the fridge. My berries last so much longer vacuum sealed in a jar instead of spoiling within several days, amongst other items.Amazing kitchen tool to have.
