Works (so far) as indicated. Have an older home with pull cords in high ceiling of closets (no walk-in). Have tried 3 different motion lights which indicated they worked in closets... they did not! I think this bulb does due to being able to "sorta" point in direction of movement you are wanting it to recognize. It's not real bright but fine for a low light area. I will buy more!!!!
