Homeless Jesus is a Christian sculpture by master artist Timothy P. Schmalz that is Inspired by Matthew 25. This sculpture is a representation that suggests Christ is with the most marginalized in our society. The Christ figure is shrouded in a blanket with the only indication that it is Jesus being the visible wounds on the feet. The life-size version of the work has enough room that someone is able to sit on the bench. Mr. Schmalz's small statues are miniature versions of his large masterpieces. These small religious sculptures are works of the highest quality and make excellent Christian Gifts that will be treasured forever. In a world flooded with generic catholic figurines, Mr. Schmalz's small masterpieces will connect with you on a spiritual level and make unique Christian gifts. 5Hx9.75Wx3.5D This highly detailed piece of Christian art is an excellent conversation piece that provides an opportunity to share your faith with all who view it.

I love this sculpture.
I've been wanting this sculpture since the first time I paid eyes upon it.It speaks to me on every level. Finally was able to get it, and yes, it's very powerful and resonates even more so in real-time than it did in the images on Amazon.I purchased the larger of the two miniature sizes. Arrived earlier than expected, extremely well-packaged, and with some 'card's food for thought included.(See for yourself!)I count myself as one of the marginalized in this life. This sculpture speaks to me on multiple levels. It reminds me of so many of the people I've known, in a time when I was thrown into homelessness as a teenager and found myself in precisely what this sculpture depicts. Trying to sleep on a park bench in a big, dangerous city. This sculpture takes me back decades and brings to mind those I met during that time, who became my family. These humans, also marginalized, we're among the most amazing people I've been blessed to know. This is a beautiful, heart piercing work of love and art and empathy.I thank the sculptor for not merely seeing the marginalized in this world, but dignifying us all in this way.I intend this piece to be the first in my collection.I'm honored to own this sculpture. Thoreau said, "It's not what you look at, it's what you see."Very happy with this purchase.
