Exact replacement for my Hunter Fan model 20763
After 13 years, the pull-chain switch for the fan broke, and a call to Hunter Fan confirmed they no longer manufacture the full switch housing assembly (which is what they'd like you to replace, not just the switch). A few YouTube videos and a study of several Amazon reviews, and I purchased this part. Took the fan apart this morning to find the exact same switch inside! As suggested, I took a photo so I could put the right wires back in the right slots, and it was incredibly easy. The only hold up - I had to take the old switch apart to get the wires out, but even that was easy (used a small screwdriver to pry open the tabs holding the green to the black). Works like a charm, and so much cheaper than a new fan!

QUALITY MATCH FOR A HUNTER CEILING FAN
This switch was quality wise close to or better than the original in a Hunter fan that it replaces. Fairly priced and easy repair.

I have gone thru some many different brand of pull chain switch from home depot to lowes, none of them work. This one is little pricey but it does the job

it only worked on one speed... low. returned it and bought another from a hardware store, service was great, refund the same day.

Identical!
It was easy to figure on amazon. Exactly identical to the existing part in the ceiling fan needing the replacement. Took a photo of the existing a a reference on the wiring layout. Did not come with directions but well packaged. The most difficult part of replacing the defective item was climbing up and down the ladder.
