Lightweight, Roomy and Comfortable Without Looking Too Casual
I purchased these because I was looking for a lightweight, comfortable shoe with a little more breathing room. I’ve developed neuropathy and other foot issues, and I wanted something easier on my feet without having to switch to a shoe that looks like a typical athletic shoe. I wanted something I could wear casually or in a business-casual setting, and these fit that need very well. I purchased the size 15 3E, and the fit has worked very well for me. For comparison, I normally wear a size 14 extra-wide in Timberland PRO shoes. The extra room in these has been especially comfortable for my feet without making the shoes feel sloppy or oversized. They are extremely lightweight, comfortable, and roomy. They look nice enough to pass as a casual business shoe, but they have much more of the lightweight comfort I was looking for. The quality has also been very good, and so far I haven’t even needed to polish them. For years I wore Timberland PRO leather lace-up shoes, and I still think they’re some of the best and most durable shoes I’ve ever owned. I’ve kept mine and hope to find a good custom or specialty insole that will make them more comfortable for me again. If you need a really durable traditional work shoe and don’t have the foot issues I’m dealing with, I still highly recommend Timberland PRO. But for what I need now, these have been a great choice. They’re lighter, roomier, and much more comfortable for my feet while still looking presentable enough that I don’t feel like I’m wearing tennis shoes everywhere. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Very Comfortable Shoes for Older Adults
The package arrived torn, so I was a little worried at first. Thankfully, the shoes were in excellent condition and looked brand new. One thing I noticed was that each shoe had an extra insole on top of the original one. It wasn’t until I removed the extra insole that I could see the New Balance branding on the original insole. There were also a few tiny white fibers or marks inside the shoes that looked like they came from the manufacturing or cutting process. It wasn’t a big deal, so I didn’t consider it a problem. I bought these shoes for my father, and he absolutely loves them. He says they’re very comfortable and provide great support. I would definitely recommend these shoes, especially for older adults looking for a comfortable everyday shoe.

Reliable Walkers for Road Warrior Feet
I grabbed the New Balance Men's 928 V3 Lace-Up Walking Shoes because my previous pair fell apart after too many airport treks and Florida heat hikes—living here and traveling constantly for work meant I needed solid support for swollen feet after flights. Expectations were straightforward: good cushioning and stability without breaking the bank, hopefully lasting longer than six months. Over the past week, I've logged miles in them—pounding pavement for 5 miles daily around my neighborhood in humid 80-degree weather, plus standing through 8-hour travel days with layovers. The ABZORB cushioning absorbs impacts nicely on concrete, and the Rollbar system keeps my rearfoot steady, reducing that usual post-flight ache. Leather upper breathes okay but gets warm in direct sun; laces secure well, no slippage. Odor-resistant lining helps after sweaty sessions—no funk yet. At their price, they're worth it for the build quality and features like the removable footbed for custom insoles. They outlast cheaper walkers I've owned, though not indestructible for heavy use. Drawback: sole feels a tad stiff at first, forcing a slight gait adjustment before breaking in. Overall, they exceeded on support and comfort for my routine, beating expectations for travel durability. The stability shines for uneven airport floors, but wish the toe box wasn't quite so roomy. Pros: Excellent ABZORB cushioning for all-day walking. Rollbar stability prevents overpronation on long hauls. Durable leather holds up through washes and wear. Removable footbed fits orthotics easily. Cons: Stiff sole needs break-in time. Wide toe box loose for narrow feet. Runs warm in hot climates initially.

Walking shoe performs well
These are very good walking shoes. They fit as expected, and they support my feet well. The technology allows my foot to roll from heel to toe as I walk, which makes it comfortable to walk greater distances. My only issue with the shoe is its appearance. I bought the black model, which is entirely black. My wife says it looks like I am wearing work boots. These really don't look very much like athletic shoes, but they perform admirably, and overall, I'm happy with them.

Great Walking Shoe
I bought these shoes because the upper is all leather, I am starting a walking program and needed a good walking shoe, they fit my feet perfectly, they are comfortable, and they feel extremely stable with their rollbar system. They are expensive but I feel the value for the money spent makes them worth the investment. One thing I noticed is that they are a lot more comfortable when not laced all the way up through the top hole of the shoe. I laced up to the next to the top hole giving my foot more room to flex inside the shoe. When I laced all the way up through the top hole, the tongue of the shoe would dig into the top of my foot since the lacing would press the tongue of the shoe into the top of my foot.

My feet hurt in these shoes
I have been buying New Balance for years ever since my foot specialist recommended it. I have both flat feet and plantar fasciitis. I tried walking in these shoes in the first day and the sole of the shoes feel extremely hard. I was told, “You get what you paid for.” Well, I paid over $159 plus tax for this shoe compared to a $90 competitive brand shoe. I did not get the comfort or feel as the description proclaims.
