My first bore laser. can’t get much easier than this. put in the battery’s and screw in together. done. fits in my AR. actually had 2 sets of batteries. no issues.

So this definitely helped to bore sight my rifle. The issue is that it's not perfectly straight with the laser. I noticed if I spun the laser in the barrel, it would be pointing in a slightly different spot, even at 25 yards. So it's slightly off center. What I did was took a marker and drew a cross on the end of it, with an arrow on the end of 1 of the lines. Put it in with the arrow facing up. Adjusted the scope to line up. Then spun it so the arrow was facing down, and cut the difference between them on my scope. Then did the same thing with the arrow facing left, and then right. That got my scope lined up very nicely so I could shoot it and dial it in perfectly from there. Wish the laser was perfectly centered, but it still works and will still get you close enough, even without doing what I did. It does fit perfectly in the barrel, and feels like decent quality. Comes in a nice little box to store it along with the batteries, so if I need to use it again, I can easily find it and not worry about anything. So I suspect it'll last for a long time as long as I store it properly.

It is a money saving tool.

The case this comes in is nice and sturdy feeling. Enough to confidently store in a range bag and not be worried about it. The laser itself was nice and bright, good for a long distance. The cartridge is also very well built. I purchased the 5.56 option. It fit right into my barrel without any issues, no rattling or anything of the sort. It comes with 2 set of batteries which is nice, that means you won't need to replace them for a while. I unfortunately did not keep this since the red laser doesn't show up well on my sight. I have a green dot and I believe the lens also has a coating that prevents the red laser from showing up very well. Just something to consider

This is what had to be done to the metal container the bore sight came in. The laser worked ok as far as I can tell, but the device did not fit completely into the gun's chamber.

Super cool that it not only came with the batteries but with 2 sets. Laser is bright and steady, super easy to use and set up, comes in a cool little case. I used this to zero in my red dot sight, made it super simple but it would be nice if it had an on/off button or switch so I wouldnt have to take out and put in the batteries any time I wanted to use it. Besides that, great piece of equipment to have. EDIT: Dropped a star, as I went to the range it did not match well, I had used it at home and moved the red dot to match the bore laser dot, when I actually shot at the range its was all off and spent a solid 25 minutes of range time trying to properly zero it in the old fashion way. Either user error on my end or the laser bore style doesnt work as well as I intended.

Great for getting your scope on paper takes the guess work out of it .

You have to constantly take the batteries out of it all the time and then load them back in every time if not it stays on constantly whether you unscrew it to the last thread coming off or turn it all the way in it's always on
