RooTrimmer 10 Pack 1020 Seed Starter Trays and 10 Pcs 72 Cell Plug Trays, Thick Durable Seedling Plastic Nursery Tray for TD538 1020 Tray Germination (10 Sets)

Received these today and already know I'll be happy with them. Much better quality than I expected for the price point. Very happy with the larger cells as it will give me more wiggle room between seeding and planting out. I don't expect them to last forever (nothing ever does) but should get me through several seasons with proper care.

These work incredibly well and make the seeding process much simpler.

Working well so far but not very sturdy compared to others I’ve used. Will see how long they last.

The RooTrimer brand are high quality trays and inserts.I picked up a couple of the 10 pk of 72 cell with the shallow trays about two years ago for use in the greenhouse for crops at the farm. They are constantly in a rotation of germination spring veggies, clean and disinfect, then start cut flowers, clean and disinfect, then start fall veggies and every single one of them is still in perfect condition. They aren’t quiet as HD as the $30 each germination trays but they are more then adequate. And 1/10th the cost. After planting, any spots that had failed germination I smack the trays on the bottom of my boot to dislodge any soil in those spots so they haven’t been babied by any means and are still holding up great, so I just ordered more of them. This time I needed extra of just the trays for cactus seedlings in the greenhouse but the trays with the inserts are only a few dollars more than just the trays alone so I’ve got backup inserts should one ever break.

Leaving a 5 star rating because they are very heavy duty and they worked great. The one thing to remember is these are not that deep so you will be transplanting to another pot before you get to put them in your garden. Next time I will get the deeper ones.

Really nice quality 1020 tray. Lighter duty plastic but sturdy. I use them for nursery tray inserts so the size to me is most important and they fit perfectly.

Love these RooTrimmer seed starting tray kits. Quality is much higher than most online and I can tell they’ll last for many years. The plastic is nice and thick and doesn’t break easily.

I purchased the 10 pack with 72 cell tray inserts. Since I am behind on my seed starting I used 4 right a way. I didn't notice that the 72 cell inserts didn't fit properly in the trays. I would have returned them right away for the price I paid. The trays seem to be good quality thick and strong. The problem is that the insert trays don't nest properly in the bottom trays, so they sit in the water unevenly. You can push one end down and the other end will pop up, so basically these 72 cell inserts that I received are shorter than the bottom trays. What a shame for the cost they should fit properly.

Incredibly sturdy. This particular one is quite shallow so you have to pit up a little earlier than normal. But I purchased additional trays without the cells and they are much deeper, so they must sell deeper cell trays too. I will be replacing all my seed starting cells and trays with roo trimmer as the quality is unmatched. No more trays folding on me when I put them outside to harden off

Much thicker sturdier plastic than I expected. Should hold up to many uses

As described and very sturdy.

Solide et bien fait, plastique ne brisera pas facilement.

Really sturdy!
