This thing is fantastic. I was using $5 versions from the dollar store. They worked okay but were not very sturdy. These things are really well made and I expect they will last a long time. I tried these because my wolfhound mix would run out of the curtains and lickety split pop open the magnet cases with her teeth and eat the magnets! The edging would also get frayed and come off. With these curtains, there are many magnets enclosed in a strip so she can't see or get at them. It's also nice that there are no gaps anywhere especially around the magnets like the other curtains had. I don't think the edging will come off these curtains. Although they weren't $5 like my other curtains, I think these are worth the money. They look very nice and professional. They were a little big for my doorway, a sliding glass door. (I had forgotten to measure and check the size.) I had to make a little pleat that I stapled and then baste stitched, and that has worked fine. Other than that they were very easy to install. These curtains have one side of the velcro already installed across the top and sides. So you just have to add the velcro they provide to the door way and then press on. It comes in a roll and there is plenty. With the previous curtains, my dog would sometimes forget to go out through the center and would try to go out through the corner and would tear the curtain off the frame. They were so flimsy, that when she tried to start going out through the corner, she knew if she just pushed she could get through. These ones are much more sturdy, so when she has tried to push through on a corner, she realizes pretty quickly that it won't give very easy, and then she backs up and goes out the right way. I also like that it's pretty easy to push just my arm out through the curtain and the rest of it stays firmly closed. So when I close and lock the door in the evening, only my arm slips out and back, and all the bugs stay outside. I think the design of these curtains are about as perfect as these things can be. The only bad part is that I have a metal security door frame around the sliding glass door. So sometimes when my dog runs out, there are so many magnets, they latch on to the security door frame and stay open. I've tried to wrap paper towel rolls around that part of the frame, and that works until the rolls loosen. Trying to figure out a better way to prevent the magnets from latching onto it.

First off the reason why I’m giving it four stars is because there was no instructions. But, it is pretty self-explanatory. If, you know construction. The quality is pretty good. The adhesive for the strips are amazing. Make sure you put them on straight. Very tough, and the magnets are pretty strong. I might buy another one for the side door. Overall, I think it was a good buy!

The quality of this magnetic screen door actually feels really premium—the mesh is heavy-duty, ultra-dense, and the magnets close smoothly and securely on their own. However, I ordered the 74x82 size, and unfortunately, it didn't fit my balcony door right; it was a bit too wide, yet somehow too short for the frame. Because of the sizing mismatch, I had to return it, but I really liked the product itself. I'm planning to reorder a narrower width and a longer size that will actually fit my door properly. Highly recommend the screen, just double-check your measurements before buying!

Got misled on eBay. This is the one that I was looking for. It’s an actual replacement for one that was already installed. My dog can come and go freely now and keep the bugs out. Thank you.

My pets like to hang by the screen and breathe the sea air! No rips or tears and instalation was super easy! Make sure you clean of the surfaces before applying the adhesive to make it last!

This is really nice. The tape doesn't ick that well to the frame..we're finding humidity affects it- but it works well. We did just lose a magnet at the bottom. So that's a bummer.

Griptape is not fixed.Magnet is not sufficient.

Its not a continuous magnet linkage, but individual small magnets at specific distances where mosquitos and bugs can come from in between very easily, making it totally worthless.
