I purchased this fabric guide to use when sewing on quilt bindings. I absolutely love it. My layered seams were straight without struggling to control the fabric. The magnet stays in place and easily adjusted for the desired width. Buy it! You will love it.

I really like this device! I could never keep my lines straight no matter how cautious I was. This is a miracle for straight lines. It wasn’t difficult to put on the machine as it is magnetized so removing it was easy too. And it’s easy to use.

This seam guide is very strongly magnetic. I found it somewhat difficult to move < an 1/8 of an inch to get set exactly at your mark. Once in place it works great

I have a Babylock sewing machine and I was hoping to use this for 1/4" seam allowance as I begin quilting. However, it interferes with the needle when placed on the metal plate (where it magnetizes) and if I move it forward to avoid the needle, it is no longer directly over the metal plate and therefore moves around too much to be accurate. If you have a very wide metal plate, this may work well for you. But it is not useful at all for me unfortunately! :( Also, BEWARE - it does not come with instructions, just an email to contact if you need instructions...

Magnet is very strong.

Have used this for my sewing projects helps me get a better grip on the items and stay on a straight line as a beginner. The magnet is REALLY strong so atleast you’ll know it won’t fall off unless you want to.

Easy to use although you need to use plastic Robbins. The magnet messes with steel bobbins
