I have to be careful of the sodium, but oh my goodness this is so good. I was ordering multiple cans but now only order smaller numbers of them. If I have more, I want it more often and they are high in sodium. The creamy texture is wonderful, when I take that first spoonful I am reminded of some of the soups my mom and grandmother used to make for me.

For me, this soup together with a sandwich makes a satisfying meal. It has downsides, such as 460 calories, 1720mg of sodium and 10g saturated fat per can, but it notably supplies 15g of protein. While certainly not a particularly healthy food item, you could do much worse. And it couldn't be any easier to prepare.
