I was wondering why it was so expensive; IT’S HUGE!!!! For you collectors, the box arrived without damage. It was packaged alone with bubble wrap. I had 3 other items shipped with this order, delivered same day, but they were packaged separately. It will be going in my son’s Easter basket so we can’t review the functionality of it until after Easter. I know he will be thrilled! This is a delightfully large statue like amiibo. Hat is made of fabric, quality seems on point and is well made.Only problem is that is biggest use in games is probably either as a smash brothers Pikachu (don’t take my word. I’m guessing here), and his actual use in the detective Pikachu game, where he unlocks all the pika-promts you missed in a finished level. While the promts are entertaining, this amiibo is definitely more statue than game item for me.Though.... with big time movie now coming out (and sequel already confirmed), maybe another detective Pikachu game will be in the works, or a remake for the switch. Maybe it would live on for use in those games as well. Though that’s just my speculation for possible future use

This is the cutest Amiibo I own, and larger than most. I bought it right away because I love Pokemon and it's just like having a mini Pikachu statue that has a function! Though to be fair I don't see too much use in the Amiibo as an actual Amiibo, so I use it much more as a cute figurine hehe.

I knew he was going to be bigger and still I was surprised to see exactly how much bigger he was. My husband was really happy to have him though he is a big fan of Pokemon and Pikachu. I actually work for a certain gaming store that most people know of and for some reason our store didn't get the pre-orders the same day that Amazon had them so we went ahead and ordered them from Amazon to ensure we could get him!

Really giant amiibo! I am happy to own both this and the game. I have yet to try the game but this is a good amiibo to add to any collection.I do have one complaint about the delivery though. On my Amazon app, the package status was “Handed directly to a resident”. Hours later I came home from work and found the package on the front porch. Delivery person at least should ring the doorbell because my family was home during the time of delivery.

They told me he was gonna be big. They didn’t tell me he was gonna be kaiju big. Great looking amiibo as expected from Nintendo. Works with the detective pikachu game by unlocking short movie clips showcasing pikachu doing stuff. Don’t have the game, just bought the amiibo for it’s awesomeness. This is way bigger than the zelda guardian amiibo too. As long as Nintendo keeps pumping out detailed high quality amiibos, I’ll keep buying them.Look how shocked princess peach is by the “size”

Arrived in great condition. The only thing I am unsatisfied with is the fact that the amiibo is not compatible with Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U. I suppose that I should have done some research before hand, but the Samus Returns amiibo, released no more than a year ago, works perfectly fine with Smash.

The box was damaged, but that doesn't matter because I plan on keeping it to display on my shelf as a collectible.High quality figure. Soft hot is a nice touch (not sure what the material is). It's about 2-2.5 times bigger than a regular amiibo. The base has a map on it. It's a bit pricey though, but I guess it's twice the size of a regular amiibo which are $20 retail.

Es lo primero que tuve que decir. ¡ES SIMPLEMENTE GIGANTESCO! He visto amiibo grandes como Bowser y el Guardian, pero este sin duda es más grande. Esta bien detallado (sobre todo su gorrito de detective) y hasta se te olvida que es un amiibo. Luce muy bien la verdad. Lo único malo que tiene es el precio, demasiado inflado a mi parecer.Ahora sobre el envío. Me llegó un día antes de la fecha de salida y eso me sorprendió, pero el empaque de Amazon venía semi-abierto (una parte de la cinta estaba cortada, como si lo hubieran intentado abrir sin éxito) y además la caja del amiibo no venía en perfectas condiciones (golpeada, vaya). Quizá sea mas culpa del transportista, pero no está de más comentarlo.

Está muy bonito y es más grande que otros amiiboLamentablemente no es un amiibo para transportar sin embargo como adorno es perfectoCasi no se notan las uniones de los plásticos, tiene muy buenos detalles y que más puedo decir, es Pikachu detectiveSi no tienes el juego d detective Pikachu no compres el amiibo puesto que el amiibo es un complemento del juego qu edesbloquea escenas o más bien cinemáticas del juego y una que otra cosa en juegos de terceros compatibles con amiibo.

Fantastic rendition of the detective himself.The ingame features are lackluster but he definitely makes for a cute item to put on my shelf.
