Took the juice from these Mandarin Oranges and used it as the liquid required by the cake mix then broke up and stirred the oranges themselves into the cake mix. Baked as usual and served with whipped cream topping. I was told it tasted just like a creamsicle cake. They said the bits of Mandarin Oranges were just so scrumptious with the texture of the cake.

This large bottle of 23.5 ounce of mandarin oranges is a wonderful way to add a little flavor to salads and even just a snack from. Its to open than the pull tabs. They stay fresh for a few days after opeing,the seal works well and its another convenient option over the small cans. They are consistently fresh and tasty. Dole does not disappoint with this item.

These taste close to fresh, and I use them on yogurt and cottage cheese. They store well, and are affordable. I don't have access to fresh produce, but these are an excellent replacement. I've purchased several of the Dole varieties, and I'm never disappointed. Plus I can use my EBT, which is so helpful to me. I'm really glad Amazon makes these available, and will buy them a lot in future. They are SO good.

I buy this because I love to make a cake that requires Mandarin oranges. It takes about half the jar and the frosting takes the other half. I tend to make the frosting a day ahead. Having the screw top lid means I don't have to worry about tipping it over in the fridge and making a mess. This is also good to have on hand for spontaneous blood sugar drops. The juice immediately stops the shakes. I try to always keep a jar in the fridge. After the fruit and juice are gone I reuse the containers for things like brownie in a mug. I can throw everything into one of these jars, shake and pour into a mug and voila. I don't have to worry about sloshing over the side of the mug when trying to incorporate all the ingredients. They wash clean and they don't have any fruity smell. My brothers tend to steal these for the garage. Lots of little screws, nails, and fuses find new homes when my jars go missing.

I was in for a surprise, however, when I opened the jar. The mandarins and juice were fresh tasting and delicious. Maybe I lucked into a fresh batch. Whatever the reason, I will be ordering this product again.

Expiration date several months away. I've had the Mandarin Oranges, Peaches, and Pineapple Chunks. They are all good. Can't wait to try Tropical Fruit. Recommended.

THESE ARE DELICIOUS, SEET, AND NUTRITIOUS. THERE IS LITTLE DANGER OF CHOKING EVEN IF YOU DRINK IT STRIGHT FROM THE JAR AS SOME FRUIT LOVERS MIGHT TRY. THIS IS GREAT ALONE OR IN A FRYIT SALAD. I BLEND IT WITH THE PINEAPPLES AND MIXED FRUIT BLENDS TO MAKE SMOOTHIES PUNCES- IT IS BETTER THAN ALMOST ANY OTHER PRODUCT I HAVE EVER BROUGHT TO MY HOME. GETTING IT HAS SAVED US FROM HAING TO CARRY HEAVY BAGS/BOXES AND DOLE WILL REFUND AND REPLACE ANYTHING THEY SELL IF IT IS NOT 100 % SATISFACTORY TO YOU.
