Such a fun game. The wood quality is great and was much better with the painted blocks as opposed to other sets!

I now have 2 regulation sets, both are great but this one is the best. Honestly, the black/light-wood contrast makes it more fun to play for me and my friends. Must be an aesthetic thing. But the set is very high quality.On the other hand, the carrying case is no good. It broke after less than 5 simple outings. I had to replace it with a canvas grocery bag. If the maker wants to send another one to me, by all means, but only if it's an upgrade.

Great set! Feels really durable and love the color scheme. Makes it easier to find the pieces in the sand! I played my first game in the grass and the kubbs really held up to the constant battering of the wooden dowels. The dowels are standing up very well. We had some newbies playing and the first couple tosses went long right into concrete. I would not recommend letting this happen often but the dowels held up perfectly with the 5 or 6 times they hit the concrete. I love this game and my daughters (8 and 10) were able to play a modified version with their friends on a smaller field. I had asked the seller where this set was made prior to my purchase and they responded that is was made in China with rubberwood and plantation wood that originates in Brazil. I would recommend this set to anyone looking to play Kubb!

First time playing this game when received it. Good product, made well, self contained and easily repacked. Games fun, and addicting. Some say it gets scuffed and grass stained... yes, yes it does.... it’s made out of renewable woods, which is a good thing, but means softer and faster growing woods. It was meant to be played with, it’s not a collectible action figure... j/s go play!Gab a cooler of beer and find a lawn, your neighbors will do as long as you'll share your beer!

Great set. Regulation size, consistency of baton weight, stylish design. Perfect for someone who is competitive and doesn't want the cheapest set out there. Those cheap sets are smaller (non regulation) and are not created equal. Fine for your kids or picnic fun, but not for someone who wants to "play by the rules". I also own a $120 set, which although nicer in finish (urethane coated) is unecessary and not much better for the cost. I'd buy this one again, and in fact have as a gift for a friend.

I was very pleased with the purchase of this KUBB set. The pieces are all solid and ready for abuse. The included bag is a life saver too, I was actually able to get all the pieces back in the bag it shipped in without feeling like I was on the final level of Tetris. Being the equipment manager for a local after-school rec facility, this kubb set is quite affordable and is of comparible quality to the sets that are twice the price I've seen in the past.

Love the game.Two of the pieces have already broken simply playing the game. One broke on an internal knot, but it was visible from the outside.

I was so excited to get and use this game. The pieces aren't necessarily "hardwood" I don't think, but they seem to hold up well and are smooth to the touch. I specifically bought these because of a few key qualities. The first was the aforementioned wood quality. One was this was the tournament edition so the pieces are regulation size. I also liked the black paint as this would stand out in the sand and snow. Finally, the carrying bag sealed the deal. After two days of playing on the beach the incredibly junky bag ripped right along the carrying handles' seam. Within one more trip down to the beach the second side tore. It's now useless. I contacted the company that sells this and their solution was a five dollar credit. While I appreciated the quick response, five dollars isn't really enough for me to source or create my own carrying case for these. If you're looking for a great new yard game I'd definitely recommend Kubb. I would also recommend maybe looking for a different version with a better case or lower price so you could acquire your own case.
