Helix Key Safe Cabinet (20 Key Capacity) White

This is a very heavy and study safe for keys (and possibly small valuables) and in terms of security it’s pretty good from outside attack, it’s pretty robust. It also came with batteries and fixings which is a plus. In terms of strength I rate it highly but I’ve given it 3 stars for functionality...Using the security key takes real technique, despite following the instructions provided it’s really hard to get into usung the key, a stiff mechanism and badly located key-to-lock (cheap lock!) make it tricky. Hubby and I spent 10 minutes trying to unlock it following inaccurate instructions.Secondly the instructions to set the pin are also incorrect in the provided material. I had to check online for correct details. Easy once you get the right directions, but that not provided.Even those online weren’t 💯 % correct, but better and workable.Third, the key to bypass security is easy to replace... put the code in an online search engine and you can get a copy for £4 so if internal security is an issue this isn’t for you.Next, when you do put the code in, the safe unlocks the ‘lock’ but you still have to manually turn the stiff bolts to open. This is quite hard, the turning wheel is not only stiff but small and with smooth surface so grip is difficult. My previous safes both unlock AND open with the pin code making it a simple transaction. It would become quite frustrating for a car dealership or school office for example who need regular access. I could see it being left open for ease.Overall, I’m not terribly impressed with this product for the money. I’ve had it too long before installing to return but I do feel for the price it should be way way better and user friendly. That said, it will generally suit my low use requirements and I can live with it. Not sure how id feel if it was frequently in use.

Its ok for single keys on the plastic keyrings supplied. But don't try an d store bunches of keys or keyrings with car keys etc on it as the door wont close!! Endedc up having to buy a second, larger keystore.

The cabinet is well made and really easy to fit in. Obe small minus is sticky line with numbers doesnt last long.. It's keep coming off.. But in general - very good cabinet. Thank you

good product, for storing keys; key rings very fiddly.

Arrived very quickly, well packaged. I fixed it to a solid wall using M8 x 80mm Ancher Bolts as the ones supplied, in my opinion, were a little weak. The safe is very strong with 2 great big bolts holding it closed and good hinges. Since using it I consider it money well spent, all our keys are now in one place and spare car keys safely locked away.

Fine product with everything included.Number labels do not stick well to the paint.
