What do monsters feel when they are not scaring people? Little monsters have a lot of emotions. They feel scared when they hear a loud noise, excited when they get a new toy, proud when they learn a new skill, and more. This charming and humorous story helps kids recognize and manage their emotions. *It is OK to feel different emotions and talk about them *Learn how to deal with challenging emotions and find solutions *Making friends and having fun with other monsters *Emotions can also be a source of inspiration and imagination ***** Cute book and great way to describe feelings to toddler. Easy read and cute monsters. My daughter loved naming the colors off herself. -Jessica ***** Good for discussion about abstract concepts. Review: Great book for understanding emotions - This is a really lovely, easy to use book that I bought to help my toddler begin to understand and express his emotions, particularly during meltdowns. It’s been really effective, he now uses the “monsters” as a way to describe how he’s feeling, which has made communication much easier in emotional moments. It’s become a regular favourite in our house and he asks to read it several times a day, which shows how engaging it is for him. Review: great - My children 4&7 really loved the feeling monsters. Their fav monsters red and orange and helped put their feelings into words

fantastic book for kids
I read it to my 9 year old and she really enjoyed it! I loved how it rhymes and gave solutions for the problems. Helped understand that no emotion is permanent which is a good message for kids.

Poor quality, not worth the price
Nice pictures but DIY-quality work. One full page graphic is very pixelated, another has font that looks all smudgey and several pages at the end are blank on both sides. Definitely not worth almost ten quid for it. Returned.

Disappointed
Cute pictures however poorly written. Also poor quality material for the price

great little book
Adorable little photos so that you can get your child to interact with saying what the emotions are. Explains each emotion well too and how to overcome it

my anxious grumpy and worried son loves these books!
My son is dealing a lot of different emotions right now and we’re navigating them in various ways. And this is his favourite way! He asks for your books Emily. Thank you.

Too expensive for what it is.
There are only around 9 pages with text essentially. In terms of illustrations- you have a picture of a feelings monster on one page, the opposite page then has a short paragraph written on each monster. The paper feels like printer paper to touch so it feels quite cheap - and I'm not sure it will last very long with my toddler. I feel the book is very overpriced for what it actually is. At this price point I wouldn't have bought it had I known what it was.

Not my style
Maybe I’m just not a fan of this style of book? Had no storyline and used the word hate a lot for a children’s book in my opinion.

So sweet and relatable for my little girl!
My daughter chose this book for her bedtime story. She loved the monsters and compared their feelings to her own experiences. Pink was her favorite! Great book!
