Clean Bottle Express Carboy Brush for Cleaning Carboys/Corny Kegs

Upon receiving the brush, I thought it was going to be way too big for my intended use for 64oz carboys/growlers. To my surprise, the brush pretty easily fit into a carboy of this size and was able to be used as intended for cleaning. I didn’t have a drill on hand at the time, but I just spun the brush back and forth between my hands which worked pretty well, I imagine using this with a drill would also work and be a little simpler though I was very satisfied with how this brush performed the way I used it, can definitely recommend!

Had some Yeast remains stuck to the top of my glass carboy that I just couldn't clean with regular brushes. It ended drying as I had to move for a new job and just didn't have the time to take care of it. Well after a brief soak i dropped this in and cleaned 98% of the amount I struggled so hard to clean before. Soaking again to get it ready to finish the job. This tool is spectacular and makes the chore or cleaning the carboy a bit less thereof. This is at the top of my list for gifts to give to my other friends who homebrew now. 4 of 5 given on ease of use because as some others have pointed out it can coil up if you press it too far too one side or start running at too high of a speed. Even when coiled you can get it to clean it just doesn't do so with as satisfying of a look.

I much prefer this to a bottle brush. It makes easy work of reaching kreusen stains on the top of the carboy and yeast trub in the bottom. It does not however clean a carboy to sparkling with no soak in a couple passes. Bottom line: good product, but not a miracle.

Works well

I'm making my first batch of mead and I was gifted four used glass one gallon carboys. They had not been cleaned before they were given to me. I bought this bottle brush attachment and stuck it in my drill and went to town. It worked better than I expected it to. Three out of the four bottles came out spotless without any soaking. The fourth bottle which had the most caked on sediment will require a soaking. The brush still removed ninety-eight percent of the crud on the fourth bottle.

Works. Slotted into my cordless drill with no issues. Put a couple of inches of soapy water in the bottom of my soiled units and ran this thing on a medium speed. Don't press down on it or it might break. It cleaned the sides (although those weren't all that dirty) and the top and bottom of all 5 carboys that I had waiting for cleaning. The bottles came out very well with no scratches or any issues. One glass and four plastic carboys later... very happy with this purchase.

Need to stop and start to get a good cleaning but beats a hand brush by a mile!
