So far - great
Just installed on my small CNC and it worked great. I wanted the wire to hang straight down from the plug. Ability to rotate plug angle is nice.

PERFECT!
Works perfect for wiring a mini split unit to the wall outlet. So easy. The plastic is not brittle if you use the proper wiring for the amperage. 20Amps use 21awg; 15amp use 14awg. Don't use anything bigger than 12awg wiring.

Watch Out for Right-Angle Prongs on NEMA 6-20P
I didn't know enough and bought this by mistake. It has what they call a NEMA 6-20P right-angle plug, that for most people will not fit anywhere at all unless you have some sort of industrial 250V outlets in a shop for a welder or EV charger. So I returned it, and Amazon refunded my purchase price. Then I bought the correct part. RIGHT-ANGLE PRONGS -- make sure that's what you need.

Mostly functional, very cheaply made
Yes, it's the cheapest option on Amazon. And yes, the quality reflects that. The strain relief will accommodate 12 guage SO cord, but barely. Definitely don't plan to use 10 ga. If that's what your appliance had on it before (assuming you're like most people and buy this receptacle when upgrading a shop tool from 120v to 240v). The housing on the plug is very thin and bends a lot. It's very cheap plastic. The lugs to connect the wire are a strange design - I would like to make J hooks and tighten the terminal, but the housing doesn't allow for it. So, the wires stick out the back of the terminals and I'm forced to jam the 12 ga wire around and squeeze until the thin plastic case comes together. But, when you do that, a conductor is in the way of the screw hole on the back of the plug that holds it all together. Barely functional, probably fine for a non-SO (indoor) cable.
