Poured everything into the drain and left it overnight before running hot water. Water flow down the drain was restored and no more backing up into the tray.Note that the product description suggests this can be used on toilets, but it is not intended for that use and is solely for blocked outlets from baths, showers, sinks and basins. Its chemicals are very harsh and may damage your washing machine seals and pipes that are not as thick nor composed of the same materials as drainage pipes, and residue may damage clothes that you subsequently wash.
