this travel mug is honestly amazing and i use it every single day. it's just the right size and keeps my tea warm for a full 2 hours which is exactly what i need because i tend to make tea and forgot i made it haha. the leakproof lid is brilliant and i found that out the best way possible... i dropped it once from quite a height and it landed straight on my macbook. i was absolutely terrified it would spill everywhere and ruin my laptop but luckily i had closed the flippy lid properly. it did not open at all and there was not a single drop spilled. i was so amazed by that and glad i didn't have to buy a new macbook. hahah! it feels sturdy, looks great in black and works perfectly for both hot and cold drinks. i now buy these for everyone i know as they make such easy and useful gifts. i cannot recommend this enough.

With prices for these types of product costing 2, 3, 4 or 5 times the price of this one and with reviews highlighting flaws with almost all of them, it is perhaps important to assess this item accurately. Described as a travel mug, the furthest I travel is from the kitchen kettle to my desk in the adjacent room. The first points to make are that the top is screw on and it is truly leak proof, there is also a closable hole designed to drink from but I do not use it, preferring instead to drink as a normal cup. Although there is not a handle the outside is protected from the inside so it is safe to hold and carry free of heat, and is comfortable, Then there is the quality of insulation to consider. I filled it with tea and left it for four hours and two hours, with the top closed and screwed tight. After two hours the tea was sill hot, after four hours the tea was warm and drinkable - but not hot. Therefore I do not recommend this for use as a travel mug because it does not keep the tea hot enough for long enough but I do recommend it as a desk mug because it does.

I have the blue version of this and it is brilliant,no complaints completely leak proof,absolutely great. I bought another one in red and the design is different. The part that plugs the holes when closed is a detachable rubber seal on my red version and the part that plugs the small hole has become detached and so now the mug is not any good for sealing up and carrying in my bag as it now leaks after only having it for a couple of weeks 😐

Quality is excellent. I bought one before and it lasted me ages, I got a new one because I wanted to upgrade the colour to match my love for white. I really like the seal, it works well and is easy to open and has rubber so it doesn’t get stuck like some other similar looking versions I have seen in supermarkets but aren’t as functional like this one. Great for travelling can just fill it up, close it and stick it in bag and it will never spill
