Laser 3736 Heavy Duty Riveting Kit

Frankly, I probably didn't need this, I just had some riveting to do, so, I'd have got by without. But, I saw the picture and couldn't resist.I love it. It's really easy to use, It does everything it's supposed to do well. I've done many 6.4mm stainless rivets really easily. The tool feels tough and well made, as do the mandrills. Oh, and it looks blooming mean.I bought a selection of nut rivets too, I'd never used or considered them before, but frankly, It's been a pleasant surprise to find out how useful it is to have this as an option on a job or project.I just sculk about looking for holes to attack now. I'm very happy with this purchase. Thank you Laser

Ideal for fitting monobolts instead of spending several hundred pounds on an air gun when only needing occasional use.

Seemed to be a very sturdy kit. After buying several cheaper versions I thought Id finally got a more robust tool. However, after about 40 M6 threaded inserts the mandrel snapped under light pressure. Cannot find replacement parts anywhere. £110 of useless now.

Spot on bit of kit, I've had this nearly a year now and it works really well, I'm an engineer and appreciate things that do the intended job properly, I'd definitely recommend it - not only for rivnuts, but for the really big pop rivets too.

The installation bar for the M6 Rivnut is missing the left hand thread that screws into the riveting tool, very disappointed I expected better quality from Laser their tools are normally good quality. All other parts of the tool seems to be as they should.

Solid build quality and includes every little bit I need, plus a few more :-)The only negative thing I can come up with is that it is quite big, sometimes too big to fit in confined work spaces.But on the other hand it's got about twice the leverage of my other/old riveter which makes it absolutely effortless (sometimes too effortless, don't ask…) to squish large rivnuts!

We needed a riveter gun for some 8mm applications, when we searched online amazon came up as a shopping option, who knew.I have an account, it was a no brainer, the tool works very well and based on the number of bit and adaptors, which come as standard, we will never need to buy one again.

It was chosen because it was the cheapest heavy duty "rivnut", rivet stud and rivet setter on the market and it exceeded expectations. Although it was obviously of Far Eastern origin, manufacturing standard it was quite good. Care must be taken to ensure the axis of the riveter is exactly coaxial with the bore as there is sometimes a bias of on one of the arms. I would recommend this tool.
