I use it at work for coding and other design activities and it works really well: the resolution is sufficient for my needs and is a good compromise between density of information and legibility of text. The quality of the image is reasonably good (although, do not expect Retina Display crispness - still, it's 49" of monitor!) and the curve is great to make it so that even the extreme sides of the screen are usable. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it if your work is mostly around textual information and system diagrams - no idea about gaming, haven't really tried for that. One minor fault is that the OSD controls are really fiddly and it's not really clear what many of the settings are supposed to do, and it took quite a bit of messing around with it before I could find the right balance of contrast, brightness, color calibration, etc. to make the image really crisp.

This monitor is excellent. When I first received it, I thought that it was too big but having used it for a few days, I realize that it is perfect as I can tile all the windows on one pane of glass. The stand is very strong and was easy to assemble. The resolution of the screen is terrific making text and images display with the highest quality. It is great value for the price. Only downside is that it doesn’t power on when it gets an HDMI signal (when my MacBook Pro wakes up). Not a big deal as I just have to press a button. The menu controls are not ideal as they are small and out of sight but you don’t use them very often. Overall, I am delighted with my choice.

This monitor is massive. The 49" curved ultrawide gives you an enormous amount of screen space, and it really changes how you work when you can spread everything out in front of you. My biggest frustration is that I can't adjust the monitor's sound from my keyboard, at least on a Mac. You have to change the volume through the monitor itself, which gets annoying. Windows users might have better luck with this. One quirky thing I noticed is a funny sound reverb when you talk toward the monitor, probably because of the curve. It's more of an amusing oddity than a real drawback. Overall, it's a fantastic monitor if you want a lot of screen space and the flexibility to run two computers. Mac users should just know the volume control situation going in.

I can see clearly now. No breaks, software assigned segments (PC Dependent) as well as multiple port input support. I love it.

I love my jumbotron it is made a huge difference in my work and my gaming experience. However the only complaint that I have is that if my work and personal computers are on it will randomly switch HDMI inputs which is kind of irritating but my workaround is to only have one on at a time and that solved the problem.

I love this monitor. it is more than just a big monitor with great resolution. It also serves as a docking station. I have 1 USB-C cable that goes to my surface pro and everything else (keyboard, mouse, etc) plugs into the monitor. The stand is rock solid and I can adjust it up/down and turn it so it fits on my desk just the way I want it. With windows, it is easy to divide the screen up with 1-4 windows of differing shapes based on what I am doing. I certainly like it much more than having two monitors. The sound is much better than my surface pro speakers. The only downside is you definitely should keep the box if you plan on moving. The curved shape makes it very hard to pack up and move it with a bunch of boxes without breaking it. I’ve moved twice since I bought it (using the original box) and it has survived without any problems. Overall, one of the best purchases I have made in a while.

Love this product. But it is huge.

I highly recommend NOT buying this monitor. I purchased this monitor in October 2025 for my everyday home office monitor (I work full-time from home). After logging off from work at the end of the week, I logged back on Monday morning only to find that a crack had appeared from top to bottom of the monitor about 1/3 of the way from the left edge of the panel. No one had been home all weekend, so there was nothing that anyone did to the monitor to damage it. I called Amazon, who then (quickly) connected me to Samsung Technical Support, who assigned me to a repair shop in my area. That repair shop, via text message, confirmed my repair ticket only to cancel it a day later telling me they don’t service my area. I can't get a hold of anyone at the repair shop (only an automated prompt), and no one will call me back. I called Samsung Technical Support again, who this time told me that while my monitor was still under the manufacturer's warranty, physical damage wasn't covered. I told them that no one had touched the monitor. Still waiting for the repair shop to contact me for a repair that will apparently come out of my own pocket for a poorly constructed monitor. DO NOT BUY.

I purchased this monitor in July 2024. It still performs as expected. I really like the fact that it has two USB-C video inputs.
