All around a great welding hood

The media could not be loaded.  I saw this particular helmet had great reviews. And for only $40 bucks, I decided to give it a try! So glad I did. The helmet is super comfortable. You barley feel it on you. No more head fatigue when welding and having to readjust. When welding, after the settings were adjusted correctly to my welding procedure (I recommend putting it on High sensitivity if you’re doing tig welding fyi lol) my welds came out fantastic because I could actually see my puddle! Large full screen, auto darkening works like a charm. Added a video if y’all want to see the helmet in action. Y’all go order this helmet!

This mask is honestly awesome!! It is very light weight but stabile! The quality of the mask is pretty sturdy. The visibility is crystal clear and let's you see a wide range. The Appearance of it is great too, it's not bulky at all, and there is no assembly at all, took it out of the box and put it to use. I had to contact the customer service and they answered everything same day. The customer service is out of this world. My coworks also like the appearance of this mask. They are all buying one too, that says a lot about this mask.

The headband was good and had a nice glass, but I could not get the headband to adjust correct. It kept creeping forward to a point I could not see. Had to return.Update: Arccaptain reached out to me to which I think really good of them so I am adding a star for good customer service. All said and done, I will continue to order Arccaptain products.

J’avais déjà un masque, mais il était pas assez rapide pour assombrir ma visibilité, avec celui la il répond à mes attentes. Ce que j’aime moins c’est de changer les deux piles au 3 ou 5 ans.

Quite Impressed for a welding mask at that price. So if u'r just starting out or learning how to weld and such, this is definetly an excellent starting mask to start with. Besides, w/all the splatter u get especially from MIG's, the masks' smaller shielding frame keeps u focused on the job and u'll be changing the optical filter way less ofter than them newer ones. Seriously, who needs a 180° viewing area when the job is right in front of you. Don't forget either that there are more shielding controls on the inside compared to the single multi-purpose knob on the outside. Definitely a Great Prurchase & Price for what u get. Recommended.
