Works for the Surface Generation 1!
I have a first Generation Surface 2 in 1 tablet laptop. The cord that I got with it had a short, and was falling apart. It finally stopped charging my laptop.When I found this replacement I was a little worried it wouldn't be compatible or it wouldn't work. But it works great! Connected via the magnetic port and completely charged my device.I also like that the cord is all in 1, and seems more durable than the original cord. All in all, I highly reccomend this as your replacement or backup cord for compatible devices!

Gave an old Surface new life
Worked well! The light turned on when it was charging. Charged fairly fast, no issues. This works with the Surface RT, which is an older model, so make sure you are really examining the way the charger connects to make sure it will match your computer/tablet. Good cord length, smooth appearance.

Great Fix
I thought my Surface (circa 2011) was shot and I had lost some info an needed a new tablet. Battery would not charge nor would it run when plugged in. Turns out it was the power cord that was bad. I bought this one, it works great.

Great replacement charger
I have owned the charger for a few months and it is as good or better than the original charger, in my opinion. The cord length could be linger but again, it is just as long or a little bit longer than the original charger.

Amazing cord.
The cord is a perfect length. It works well with my Microsoft Surface two, and doesn't break when it is inserted, as the official Microsoft cord does. Also has a light at the end to indicate when it is charging. The value of the price was great. Overall rating 5/5 for sure. Awesome product.

You never know for sure, but on this one, it works on my surface. Could not be happier. For the price in all, great deal!
