This hair serum is fantastic and it truly work. I'll get to my experience in a moment but for background reference; I have color treated hair. (bleached) I used color treat my hair 2-3 times a year. I use my Dyson air wrap probably 1-2 times a week and my Dyson straightener 1-2 times a week to restyle my hair through out the week. I usually have a reasonable amount of breakage after a fresh shower and wash. (nothing excessive but enough to notice and have to pull off my wide tooth comb) And my hair is VERY long (about 10 inches past my shoulders). I've been using this serum after I wash my hair and apply my oribe leave in condition and I've found after using this serum just twice my breakage has cut in half. When I comb my hair after a shower I'm noticing about half as much breakage. In addition to that my ends are shiner and healthier looking. (Less split ends) The other thing I noticed is that my hair is maintaining its shine and luster for a few days beyond my shower and it's less tangled in the mornings. That being said there's also less breakage every morning when I go tot brush my hair. (Significantly less breakage) The serum looks like a mixture with a little oil in it and it does need to be shaken/mixed well before application. The one thing I noticed about this serum is that when styling my hair after application it does take a little bit longer for my mids/ends to dry after using this serum (even with my airwrap). It's like applying oil before styling my hair it takes longer for my hair to try and it has an oily look as it dries but, once it dries my hair is smooth, shiny and less visible flyaways. And again the other trade off to taking a little longer to dry is that my hair has a healthier smooth look to it days after I style my hair. That being said the serum doesn't feel heavy on my hair at all and it does a great job keeping my hair healthier after application and styling. After styling my hair is glossy smooth and lustrous. I'm very pleased with this hair serum and would absolutely recommend it! It definitely helps keep my hair healthy and build better elasticity and strength. It also helps with breakage after 1-2 use. I couldn't recommend this serum enough to those with color treated or fragile hair looking to strengthen their hair and overall hair health.

I've been testing this treatment as a leave-in and detangler. The ingredients are nice enough you could get away with both of these uses, but I'm not totally convinced it's good as a leave-in conditioner, as it seems to perform on the average side. For detangling, it's not bad. I'm still learning how to spot heat protectant ingredients, so I'm not sure how good this is compared to other products. I also don't do a lot of heat styling so I don't know how well this compares to other types. It's not a bad product, there are plenty of good ingredients, but the price just doesn't do it for me. I can find cheaper products that perform more to my personal preferences than this.
