Q: How many milligrams per capsule? One answer said 50mg per capsule and another said 5 capsules a day for a total of 50mg (i.e.10mg per capsule).

It's 10 mg a capsule.I bought these thinking it was 50 per capsule but you need to take 5. May as well just drink a glass of soymilk.

Q: Does it help with the belly fat from menopause??

It works very well to prevent hot flashes. To me it has not helped me to reduce abdominal fat.
