Easy to read with a lot of useful info.

This is a great book for a specific audience. It falls somewhere between a beginner and someone who knows a little bit already. I found it really useful for a no nonsense simple breakdown of the basics. Setting up the Pi, getting the difference communication tools ready and getting Home Assistant ready to go. Maybe too simplistic for some or not enough detail for others.Worked well for me :-)

The book is very easy to read and has clear step by step instructions. I managed to follow them to make to setup work. When I had an issue an email to the author gave me a very quick response with the help I needed to sort it out (my error). Worth buying if you are getting into Home Automation.

Bought this for the section on Home Assistant Dashboards. It basically says make a dashboard and add entitys. That's pretty much it. Better info is online for free.

I bought this to find out more about how Smart Homes can work and how I could set something up for myself. The book isn't very long but has a lot of info about the hardware and software the author uses including a lot of screenshots. However, to do this yourself would need an amount of technical knowledge, so bear that in mind before buying.
