You can put this on anything and it improves the flavor. The difference is that this soy has been fermented for a longer period of time than regular soy. The extra fermentation causes the flavor to be much more robust. I don't recommend that you cook with this soy as it is much stronger than other types (Like regular kikkoman soy). It would easily overpower every other flavor. It is more made for dipping or splashing onto rice dishes in moderation. I will warn you that this is sauce is very addicting. Try it and you will crave it on everything.

Once you try Tamari why would you ever use soy sauce again. I first learned about San-J Tamari in 1987 while cooking at a vegetarian restaurant in Charlottesville Virginia. Much like soy sauce yet less salty with a richer and more subtle flavor. Fantastic for stir frying, as a condiment and as an ingredient in the preparation in sauces. Of all the brands I have sampled over the years none comes close to San-J Tamari. Simply the best.

it is little pricy. but the soy sauce actually taste better then normal soy sauce. I am not gluten intolerance. but I am using it because it is light and less salty and have less junk in it.

I am really disappointed because I love the San J brand however this was described as a purchase of six , 10 oz bottles with only one being delivered. Also, I received the regular soy sauce and not the premium. Lastly, it’s not refundable.

For us this is the perfect Soy Sauce. Use this & you will refuse that "fake" stuff in fast food eateries. Read labels & you will choose this one.

Great product and price. Anyone using tamari will never go back to the grocery store style of soy sauce! There is no comparison!
