In the last year or so, I've started shedding way more hair than I normally do—so much so that my hairdresser asked me if I realized my hair was much thinner than it used to be. I've bought this hair serum to help not only stop the breakage and shedding but also to strengthen my hair and, eventually, help with growth. I realize that growth takes time, though. First off, it's easy to use and smells nice. Actually I don't notice a smell at all, which is nice since smells from products can get overwhelming when they all mix. After my shower, I normally let my hair air dry, and I will use this serum. I love that it does not feel heavy or greasy at all! It absorbs very nicely, and I don't even realize I've put anything extra into my hair. My hair also has a little extra shine, which I love! Since using it, I've not had any shedding either, which, for me, is huge! I am confident that with long-term use, I will also see hair growth, but after just 3 weeks, that isn't realistic. If you are looking for a serum to help strengthen your hair, help with breakage and help to thicken yoru hair, then you definitely want to add this to yoru haircare routine. As I mentioned, it may also help with growth; that is, however, hard to measure, and I am giving my honest experience with the product. I will add that I have long hair down to my bra strap. And I take very good care of my hair and have always had healthy hair, so there is no obvious reason for my hair loss, nothing my doctor or hairdresser could come up with. So a product like this, that stops hair loss, is amazing for me!

This stuff works so good on my wavy hair and my son's curls! My family thought I was wearing fake hair recently but it was just because I've been using this on my scalp almost everyday! I love the texture of this👍 it doesn't make my hair look all wet at the top!

I just got this yesterday. I put it in last night. My scalp did not itch all day long. It was not greasy at all. It does not feel drying. I got this to nourish my scalp as silly as it sounds. I thought it would be worth a try and thought it was a fair price and easily accessible option for me. I’m new to the scalp serum game as my scalp has gotten noticeably drier after I hit a certain milestone birthday and thyroid issues. I can’t speak on the grow effect. I did use heavy shampoo and conditioner for my fine hair last night, so my hair is a bit weighed down from that specific process. I will try it with my regular shampoo and conditioner next wash. There is a slight fragrance but nothing overbearing or competing. It seams to dissipate quickly. I do not plan to use this on non wash days and will see how that works. I’ll update my review as I go along.

I was lucky enough to get a sample of the Marc Anthony Grow Long Scalp & Hair Serum in my Ipsy bag a few months ago, and I immediately fell in love with it, especially the price tag. As someone with fine, thin hair, I am always hesitant to use serums or oils for fear of it looking greasy, but this one is perfect. It adds a beautiful shine without weighing my hair down. Beyond the fact that it doesn't leave my hair greasy, it also smells absolutely divine! I've been using it for a couple of months now, and I can honestly say I've noticed a difference. My overall scalp and hair health has improved, and I've even seen some new growth around my hairline. I also love to use a little bit of this on my ends when they look a bit dry. It's so hard to find a product that works for my hair type, but this serum truly is a game-changer. I will definitely be repurchasing it!

I got this and the leave in conditioner with high hopes. But sadly, after a few tries, I’m disappointed. The Scalp and growth serum dries out my scalp causing flakes and my hair feels crispy crinkly like dead ends. Even when I use the leave in, it’s like I’m having an eczema flair and never had a hair cut before. It absorbs quickly and I feel like using more or less still doesn’t meet the expectations I had after reading reviews; I have the same issues when I used it on dry hair. The leave in brings a whole other set of issues… that would’ve been better as a cream with how thick it is, it’s impossible not to get too much in one area. When my hair dries it feels like I didn’t wash out all of the conditioner in the shower… But only in the areas where the leave in was. Unless you spray it in your hand and finger comb, there’s no way to spray it evenly. (the spray nozzle is meant for a lighter product). On the plus side, the leave in smells good, nothing to write home about but better than others. I have long, fine, 2b hair for reference. I usually air dry and if styling, I use a curling wand. W/O these product my curls last 2-3 days before I need to touch them up, w/ these product I have to touch up curls every day and wash sooner regardless if I styled or air dried.

Truth be told my hair did grow a little bit. I used it for a little break off on the perimeter of my hair and not too bad and it smells good

I've only just started using this miracle oil, primarily to prevent breakage as I am suffering from heavy shedding in these dry Canadian winter months. I've only just received it within the last week or so, and with daily usage I can say it is life altering for me. If I go even one day without an application my scalp will revert back to feeling irritated and inflamed, with premature breakage and heavy shedding. This elixir leaves my hair soft, shiny, and healthy without that weighed down or greasy feeling. It is absolutely a protectant against breakage; my drain was clogging regularly before and I am noticing vast improvement in the shedding area. I absolutely adore this product and recommend as a topical treatment for scalp irritation or treatment, not merely for hair growth. It really is that potent.
