So it's MDF? Not worried.
A bit of a struggle to fit together but that's actually a good thing as the tolerances must very low, the slats are a very tight fit into the top and base.OK so it's largely MDF rather than wood (I think the top is the real thing, it looks pretty genuine) but I doubt if this construction would be achievable if the 12 slats were all wood - certainly not at this price.The finished product is light, sturdy and looks great.
