The key to getting great results is proper prep. You definitely want to make sure the surface is well-lubricated using a clay lubricant spray or a diluted clay soap solution before starting. Once the area is properly slick, you gently glide the clay bar over the surface don’t press hard, just let it hover and pick up contaminants as you move it back and forth. After just a few passes, you can actually feel the difference. It pulls embedded dirt, grime, and road contaminants that washing alone won’t remove, leaving the paint incredibly smooth to the touch. The clay itself is easy to work with, soft enough to conform to surfaces but firm enough to hold together without falling apart. It also rinses clean and can be reused several times if stored properly. For the price and performance, it’s a great detailing tool whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. If you take your time and use enough lubrication, the results are seriously impressive.

Just A little bit of warm water and soap in a spray bottle and it worked fine. Make sure while you use it you continuously spray and it glides around slippery and smoothly, kneed clay to start fresh …got a lot of marks and contamination out from my cars paint

I'm no clay bar expert, but these appear to work the exact same as the ones in the expensive kits. I paired this with Mothers Prep spray and it worked like the kits I've bought in the past - but for less money.

These work great 👍 store them in the shade ,apply car wash soap and water, clay away. works fast.Dont press hard,just glide,let the clay do the work.

Giving a three star review as this clay is not very pliable. Other clay products I have use were more pliable and easier to work with. The clay bar worked fine just but would prefer a more pliable product.

Keep is wet and keep it moving. If you drop it just throw it away and grab a new piece. Removed 40years of built up grime that regular washing couldnt remove.
