Battery iRiver H110, H120, H140, H320, H340, Li-pl, 2200 mAh

I bought this in April 2013 from UK Battery via amazon market place. I installed it in my iRiver H340 the same day I received it. I didn't write a review immediately, thinking it best to see how it went for a few months.This wasn't my first iRiver replacement battery. I've owned an H140 and an H340 from new and have previously replaced the battery of each. This was the second replacement battery for my H340. I refamiliarized myself with the replacement procedure by means of a youtube video and went ahead. It is a bit fiddly but straightforward and only takes a few minutes. In the past I had bought (from a different retailer) a similar battery whose wires were too short. This one is fine, not too short and not so long as to create a problem (it's a tight fit inside these devices).The battery is excellent. On my Rockboxed iRiver H340 playing flac audio I easily get something like 25 hours between charges. It holds a charge when idle and charges up quickly.When my H140 needs a battery I will buy this same product from the same retailer if possible.

Slots in perfectly. I took the iRiver apart and thankfully it's pretty straight forward. You need one of the really small hex keys for all the screws and since nothing is welded together it's very easy to take apart. The battery is a straight replacement for the original but I think it is greater capacity which is awesome. When I put this in an my player came back to life it felt amazing to see that blue LCD screen show my my 6500 mp3's that I hadn't seen for over 10 years.If you have one of those iRiver players lying around because it won't turn on it's probably the battery and for this price it's well worth the effort in bringing it back to life.

Bought this battery to replace the old one in my husband's iRiver. It arrived promptly and, following a YouTube tutorial, my hubby fitted his new battery and his pleased as punch. His iRiver now keeps going for much longer and we can listen to a whole episode of "Stop the Week" (we have hundreds of recorded episodes on the computer!), without it cutting out in the middle of a heated discussion on manners, etiquette or some such story. He's happy, I'm happy and all is well in the World!

So far its good ,does not give 25 hrs like some people say gives me about 8 hrs.

Installed in my iRiver H120, running Rock Box and also with an compact flash/SD card mod.I was getting less than 10 hours on my old battery which was obviously dying. The new one is giving me about 33 hours, which is fantastic. I play mostly 320kbps and FLAC stuff, but I also use very easy to drive Shure SE535s, so have the player on a low volume.The battery is a fair bit thicker than the standard battery, about 2.5mm instead of 1.5mm, which meant it didn't fit in the player with the compact flash PCB. A bit of dremelling away did the trick though, and I managed to get it all in.With a standard H120 you'd be fine. I think the H140 is actually a little thicker to capacitate the larger HDD, so that should also be fine.

Good quality Cameron Sino battery. A little tricky to install because access to the battery connection port requires dismantling the entire unit (youtube videos available), but since the connecting wires are quite long on this product (longer than on the original battery) you could just cut and splice them to the previous wires (apply insulating tape, and if possible solder the connection for best performance)Back to at least 16 hours mp3 playback from my iRiver H320, in fact I fell asleep listening to an audiobook and in the morning (~7 hours later) the battery was still showing full power in the display!

Was having problems with my i-river mp3 player. Not any more since purchasing this new battery. Fairly straight forward to insert. Many suppliers were charging more than double the price. Would reccommend this product/supplier.
