Tasty but needs salt
Great camping soup or just for office lunch. I add some salt and cream to amp up the flavor. Ok Thai soup for what but is.

Brexit Curse
Three previous packets of this soup failed to arrive at all. This one arrived having first gone through Customs in Athens, being valued at €23 instead of maybe £2, and I was then charged €8 in import duty before I could receive it. So, the soup is okay, if not memorable, but definitely not worth over £25 for 3 1-cup packets of soup. Ordering ANYTHING from Amazon.uk has now become a hugely expensive nightmare. I shall ot be ordering anything else unless I am back in the UK. We ex-pats are being punished in myriad ways for a referendum we were not allowed to vote in.

My favourite
Have a stash of these for when I can't get out for lunch or need a mid-morning pick-me-up on a cold day. The wild mushroom is more filling as it's thicker, but this one's my favourite. Also good in the boot of the car as part of Winter emergency kit ... together with a sachet or two of hot chocolate. Don't forget means to boil water for the latter.

The new recipe is not as good.
I used to love this soup. It had a rich Thai flavour and I would sometimes us it with other ingredients to make an easy Tom Kai but this new recipe is just spicy and bland. Not sure what happened here Mr ainsley but I’m guessing the finance people wanted cut backs and took the good bits out!!

DO NOT BUY IF THIS USES THE NEW RECIPE, WHICH TASTES OF SOAP.
This product looks like the new recipe, which doesn't use lemongrass and tastes of soap. I have just trashed 12 cartons of 'new recipe' from another seller.

The new variety is not as good as the original
Disappointed with the new variety. It’s thinner and far too salty. You can add salt you can’t take it away. I won’t buy it again. Also it’s cheaper in the supermarket than through Amazon.
