Great bird food!!
My Amazon is 54 yrs.old. And he absolutely loves this.At his age? I go far for good food that makes him happy, and he just goes bonkers when I open the tub up. They arrive perfectly, little balls of seeds, not crumbles, will continue to keep ordering this product.

Valuable nutrients for your Cockatoo.
Arya LOVES her Nutri-Berries! These provide valuable nutrients for your Cockatoo. Arya will go into her condo, grab one from her dish, come to the edge of her condo, drop it on the table or floor, jump down, pick it up, run over and fly up to me so she can eat it on my lap!

My Bijou's choice.
I get these because my African Grey wants them. Bijou has been eating them since she was 4 months old and now she is 22 years. She decides what she gets and she wants these. We call them dozy balls (between us). I get them because she wants them. She has a way of looking at me (like I'm filth) when I give her something she doesn't want and she throws it on the floor while saying "Whoops!" Not with dozy balls. She loves the spicy ones but they are only available in the super expensive small packs. She's eating them her dozy balls now. I like Lefabers stuff because I have never found moth eggs in the package. I can't say the same for other brands when i ended up with moths everywhere and sucked them up with a vacuum. At least the bird was entertained. She hated those moths. Anyway, good stuff, vitamin fortified and parrot approved.

Becoming more and more disappointed in these treats
Agree with majority of comments. My cockatoo loves them but frequent price increases are a turn off and the Nutri-berries more often arrive as a large cluster that requires time and patience to separate into individual treats

My Parrots Love These as Treats and/or a Staple. Let Your Bird Decide.
I give these as treats and for some of my parrots, as the bulk of their diet, because no matter how healthy the cooked food or the raw diet might be, it's only going to help them if they eat it. I have yet to have a bird turn down a Nutri-Berry. My birds are in perfect health, so I have to say, these are doing their job, and more. I have a Timneh African Grey (the smaller version of the Grey parrots), and she really loves these large nutri berries. She takes it in her claw, talks to it lovingly, rubs it on her head, and then gnaws away on it, whispering sweet nothings to it as she reduces it to dust. If she could make a commercial for these, I think she would. I know she'd buy them for her bird, if she had one. My Amazons really like them, and seem to prefer this Macaw/ larger size to the size down from these. Birds will let you know what they like and dislike. My Cockatoo flings these at me with all of her might, and refuses to even try them. So I'd say let your bird tell you what they think. And if this is ALL they eat (which is true of my tiny Spectacled Amazon, who eats more than my other birds put together)) don't worry. She's healthy as a tiny horse, and ruling the bird room with an iron claw. I'm grateful to this company for making something palatable and easily fed. I have these delivered monthly, always fresh, smelling divine, and welcomed with open wings. ..

Big Bird says to give these 5 stars.
35 years ago, I was a young college student and thought it would be cool to have a parrot that would live as long as me. So, now I'm in my mid 50's and I have a parrot who has lived her entire life in jail. I feel guilty every time I pass her cage. Yes, she gets out at times, but is essentially a prisoner because she would eat the house if left out unsupervised. She should be living in South America, free to vandalize anything she wishes. Youthful mistakes aside, I do love the bird. She is part of our family and I want to make up for her unnatural life by giving her treats that she loves. And she LOVES these Nutri-Berries. I go through a couple of these 3.5 pound tubs every 4 - 6 weeks. Our kids grew up with her and now they are having kids who will grow up with her and I am spending $50 a month placating my guilt with treats for a bird who deserves much better. I will probably still have her when I'm 80. My advice to young people. Don't smoke, be kind to your fellow humans and don't EVER buy a parrot.
