Works in my Toyota Camry
I have this installed in my Toyota Camry, and it fits ok. It took some work to fit it into the cup holder, but it's good now. It does limit the cup holder to a water bottle size or a medium coffee cup. Even with my large iPhone 15 Pro Max, the arm doesn't move too much while driving. The clamp holds the phone in well but doesn't crush the buttons. I wish when it was wider open for my big phone, it would open faster, but it's easy to get the phone out once you push the release button.

Super sturdy, but not great with popwallet
I wish I could take a picture of my phone in the holder for context. First of all I want to say that I love that I can put this in my cupholder and still use it. Awesome! It's also much sturdier than I was expecting. The way it works is there is a button on the back of the mount which releases the two side pieces and allows them to expand, letting go of the phone. To mount again, you just push the two side pieces together until it's tight around your phone. I'm using a Pixel 7 Pro with a slim case and I have plenty of room to use it vertically. The adjustable arm part is really awesome... It bends just easily enough without being flimsy. I honestly love this thing, but if I could change one thing it would be to make the little side pieces that hold the phone in, bigger. The way they are now, the phone will not fit because I have a slim case on it and a popwallet. It would probably fit if I just had a case and pop socket, but the popwallet is just too thick. I have found a way to rig it so it will work, but I'd prefer not to have to rig it or take the wallet off each time I want to use it.

Not sturdy enough
I’ve been looking for this type of phone holder because I don’t like my vents blocked by anything. So I decided to order this one and I have to say it’s just ok! It definitely not made for a larger phone like my iPhone 14 Pro Max or any phone of that size, the arm won’t stay up, the phone is too heavy. I had to improvise and use tape and rolled up a small towel to keep the arm up🤷🏻♀️ I’ve gone through to many phone holders. I’ll just keep it! Just know it’s not made for bigger phones.

Surprisingly stable.
I recently purchased a new 4x4 truck and the new dash would not support my old phone holder that used to mount on/in the A/C vent. The new vents are angled more towards the driver and passenger seats making the angle either too close to the steering column or facing away from the driver. I do not like mounting things on my dash as visibility to closer obstacles suffers when sitting as high as this truck does. My old truck didn't have a center console, this one does... And it has three cupholders. The design of this phone mount still allows utilization of the cupholder it uses, albeit it won't "squeeze" a cup to help stabilize it. The cupholder space is still usable for cup or small item storage. I would consider my cupholder size average, and this phone mount can still be utilized in smaller or larger cupholders. The part that is inserted into the cupholder is "cushioned" by rubber or silicone on opposing sides to stabilize the mount, and it seems to do a great job so far. The most surprising feature is the "gooseneck" that appears VERY stable, probably more stable than the joints attached to the cupholder insert, or the phone bracket. Someone would need to intentionally desire to bend or break the neck for it to be repositioned, or they would have to be going over some seriously rough terrain, and that would probably cause the ball or screw tightened joints to give way before the gooseneck would. I have a relatively heavy Google Pixel 6 and given the versatility of this device coupled with its' stability. I would definitely recommend the investment of $25 to protect most phones I know of.

This is so close to perfect!
What a genius design. Once I installed this, I was able to fit any cup I could prior to putting this in the cup holder. It is adjustable for different size phones and angles. The only problem I had, and I think it has to do with the weight of my phone plus case, was that after a while the weight of my phone seemed to make it drop back and lean on my dash. I tested it with my husband's smaller samsung and my mom's iphone 10 and we didn't have the same issue. Only my galaxy ultra 22 with a box case seems to cause it to do that. Since I got it for my own use, it was disappointing but not a total loss because it is usable with other phones. So if your phone isn't obnoxiously heavy, this should be a win!

Great solution
This is a great solution to phone mounts that do not hold up under high heat. So simple to just set it in the cup holder. It isn't as convenient as having it up towards the dashboard, but it at least you don't have to worry about it falling off from the heat.

I Like It
Overall, I like this phone holder. The arm is flexible but very sturdy and holds once you bend it the way you want it. It has two points you can loosen and adjust, the position of the arm at the base and the phone holder at the top. I actually chose this model bc it had less of these points than many others (I have found over time those can loosen and then it doesn't hold). I don't anticipate changing this much now that I have it set where I want it so I'm not worried about that. I was trying not to lose a cup holder with this design but my larger 40 oz tumblers don't fit that cup holder anymore (Stanely and Reduce brand which were snug fits before). I tried a soda bottle and a plastic water bottle and those fit just fine for other's reference. I think it will just depend on your cup holders you have. The pictures here show deeper cup holders, mine are not that deep (2015 outback for reference) so that might have an effect too. I wish the plastic part that goes in the cup holder was slightly shorter, I think it would blend in better. I can still use the cup holder for sunglasses and other things so it's still useful, just something to be aware of for those who often have more than one large drink. Over all, I like it so far and it keeps my phone at a good level for using gps without an awful glare and from sliding out of the cupholder which is very helpful and really why I got it!
