Useful product with good quality material used

It works great. It’s similar in design to the coconut scrapper I have seen my mother using since childhood, but those were used sitting/swatting on floor. She would do this work away from kitchen, sit on the clean floor with a mat. That is kind of cumbersome in today’s fast life where there is little time. And tiring too to squat for long. - This can be easily used on the kitchen slab, the blade is beautifully sharp, and scrapping is done fairly fast. - Otherwise our cook has been cutting pieces of coconut and grinding in mixer. That way the soft brown peel also get mixed with the white portion of coconut. With this new scrapper, we can scrap just the white portion hence your sweets and chutney will look white as well. It’s been barely a week of using - and another advantage - the blade has a cover. This way the blade remains sharp and it avoids any accident. It’s been only a week. The longevity of this product will be tested with time but so far I am happy.
