This fixed the broken agitator dogs on my machine and got it running and cleaning clothes. Only 4 stars because most of the parts did not fit my Whirlpool washer agitator, even though the seller said supported my model. I ended up using only a few of the parts supplies, mixing with older parts, and throwing out most of what I bought as was for a different agitator design. But it was enough to get the machine working again. Just that I could have ordered only the agitator dogs and not the whole rebuild kit since most of it was not usable for me.Also the directions were pretty confusing although the process is simple--I searched online and found a video that helped much.

Here's the thing: This is a decent product, and it works. But, it's a bit like a jigsaw puzzle. Not a complicated puzzle, but I'm gonna post a few tips that will allow you "maximum grooviness" and minimal heartburn when installing it.1. Stick your extension down the agitator, loosen the 5/16 nut, pull it out.2. Turn the agitator upside down, into your hand, collect all the bits.3. When you look in the washing machine, there is a white ring on top of what's left. Remove it and replace with the one in the kit, or the dimensions will be wrong and you can't get the bolt back in.4. For lack of a better term (and not having pictures), I'll call the replacement part a "cone". Turn the cone upside down and put the dogs in. They will stay as long as the "cone" is upside down. Why this is important: While you're fooling around with the bits and pieces, it's very easy to tip the thing the wrong way, all your little "agitator doggies" go flying into "Dimension X", and you may, or may not, ever see them again:).5. Take the bolt, dab a little silicone grease on it. SHOVE SOMETHING BEHIND IT, a piece of paper, whatever you have, to hold it in place, inside the cone.6. Holding the agitator upside down, shove the assembly into it. GRAB THE BOLT FROM THE INSIDE, and keep a hold on it. If this thing wobbles at all, your "agitator doggies" come free and go all over. KEEP TENSION ON IT, while you put your extension on the other end. Only take your hand off after you are applying pressure with extension.7. Set it on the agitator mounting and bolt it back on, keeping pressure on it with the extension all the time. If the cone is allowed to wobble or rise up at all, you lose your "doggies".If I had known this at the start, I think I could have done this in about 5 minutes. As it was, I probably wasted about 30 or 45 minutes fiddling with the thing (that includes "search time" for the doggies that went missing). Just hoping I can save somebody a little grief. Also, you can find the extension (I used 12") and the silicone grease right here on Amazon, so you can make it a "one shot deal". Have a wunnerful damn day!Driver Steve :)

The media could not be loaded. It was easy to install and came with all the parts, but the dogs click very loudly. The only option to troubleshoot is self and the self troubleshooting only lists help for a dryer.
