It provides NIJ level IIIA protection which means it will stop a .44 Magnum or .357 SIG at just 5 yards. This is a very protective panel. Level IIIA is the highest level typically achieved by soft armor and is the same level that the BulletSafe bulletproof vest uses to protect police officers, security guards, and people in dangerous situations. The BulletSafe Bulletproof Backpack Panel is made by a well-known bulletproof vest manufacturer in the same facility using the same materials as their vests. This bullet proof backpack panel can be used inside a backpack, plate carrier, briefcase, book bag, bug-out bag or even a purse. It is a very versatile size and can be used in a number of different situations.
