It is lightweight and compact, and it boiled water in exactly 4 minutes. The outside of the container does not get overly hot with the boiling water in it, and since there is a clicking sound when it is finished, you don't have to exactly sit on it to know that the water is ready. This unit is handy, efficient and indispensable. Like it so much, bought an additional one. My original kettle is more than 2.5 years old. It has been a great tool and still looks and works great. I’m keeping it plus this new one. However, the original cap broke, which is the reason for additional purchase. The plastic handle / cap broke off the lid, then the rubber gasket wouldn’t stay on because all the lid pieces had come apart at that point. So, this product has a two year warranty, I believe, which is awesome. However, mine is older, so no free replacement. But, I’m happy to buy another, because I use it daily sometimes multiple times daily. What originally appealed to me is that the electric wattage of this speed boil unit is half as much as larger kettles. I’d rather use less power, and also my solar inverter can handle this wattage but can’t handle the 1,500 watt type of kettles with larger volume of liquid, which I don’t need. Also, it boils plenty fast for my needs. The boiling point in this unit seems sky high, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen such a rolling boil from any stovetop pot. Also, the external surface is cool to the touch and definitely safe. My old kettle is in excellent condition, and I only boil distilled water in it. So, it looks like new. The stainless steel is excellent. Over the 2.5 years, my old unit cost me maybe 4 cents per day of my original investment. And as time went by, I have used it more frequently and enjoying it even better, expanding from typical tea habit to matcha tea and hot cocoa plus other powders that need boiled water.

Just what I wanted for a compact, efficient electric kettle for hot water. Filling 2/3 of the way to the max line is plenty for my cup; about 14 oz (450 ml). The cord is about 27" long, which seems reasonable for a kitchen counter. Mine heats that 14 oz in exactly 3 minutes.

I'm by myself and drink one cup of coffee in the morning so the size is perfect for me since I also don't have a lot of counter space. It's enough for 2 mug-fulls at the max fill line and heats up in about 3 minutes. But speaking of that fill line inside the kettle, it's in a bad place. It's on the point where the handle is so it you can't see it when filling the kettle while using that handle. It should be at the opposite point (where the spout is). Otherwise, pretty good so far.

This is an awesome kettle when you only want to make 1-2 cups of tea or other hot beverage or have limited space. It is easy to use and clean. It provides good value for a modest price and looks good sitting on a kitchen counter, coffee/tea/beverage bar, etc. I think any student going off to college would like one. It would travel well in an RV too. I have a larger kettle from this company that is no longer offered on Amazon that has worked flawlessly for 2 years. This brand is high on my list of kettles for future purchases. I also gifted my granddaughter-in-law with one like the first one I bought 2 years ago. She likes it too.

Wife started drinking tea and wanted a quick way to boil water. This is fast, quiet and small enough to take it with when we travel. I use it to make hummingbird food. 1 cup of water began to boil in 1:15 minutes and auto-shut off at 2:00 minutes. At Max capacity, it's about 4:30 minutes before it shuts off.

I have used this kettle daily for several months. Works quickly and I love that my boiling water does NOT touch plastic. Also love how it boils water quickly. It is small but that’s actually why I bought it. Just enough for my tea or a bowl of ramen.

Tengo más de 2 años con ella, no he tenido falla. Es bonita, tiene el tamaño que necesitaba (perfecta para 1 o 2 personas). Ya van 3 que compro, una la regalé y les gustó tanto que me pidieron otra para su otra casa. Las 3 siguen funcionando a la perfección por más de 1 año, uso diario. Se apaga sola cuando el agua está lista.

Buena calidad y cumple muy bien su función; calienta muy bien el agua para una taza o dos. El tamaño es excelente para tenerlo en la oficina.
