This baby gate is incredibly practical! I bought the adhesive type, so there's no need to drill holes. It's super easy to install—just stick it on, wait 24 hours before expanding it, and it's ready to use. It's very sturdy. The spot where I placed it is actually slightly uneven and not perfectly level with the wall, but the adhesive fasteners can adjust to a slight angle, so it sticks without any issues. The best part is that it has no odor at all, making it very safe for the baby.

We did a lot of reviewing before this purchase. We needed something that would keep schnauzers out of part of the house, fit into this hallway, allow air flow through into to the airflow return and did not want something we had to step over (rod/bar along the bottom)- one more thing to trip on. This met all our needs, works well, easy to install. Watch video online of female young mother installing.NOTE:1) We had to attach the lower mounting piece (on the right) higher than instructions show because our old house walls are not plumb. Mounting closer to the floor did not allow mounting piece to lay flat/flush against the wall. red circle2) If a rug will go under the gate confirm the clearance off the floor on both sides. red & blue arrow3) Because of the double base board sticking out from wall and floor it's difficult to hook into the bottom latch (left side) with just one hand. The rod hits the base board. Not a game changer. blue arrow4) Consider traffic flow. we mounted the main part on the side of the hallway that does not have someone walking around to enter the bedroom. Less chance of bumping into it or something your carrying snagging onto it.66 year old female attached to the wall with supervision of spouse. Yes, anyone can do this. I bought one of these to use as a dog gate outside. The installation was awesome! Plenty of options for how it’s installed and it’s highly adjustable too. The spring seems to be sturdy and should hold up for a long time. It can also be easily removed and replaced. I’m super impressed and buying two more!

Only down side is i feel the spring is alittle weak and feels like after a year it'll have a hard time retracting already does now

These baby gates are so amazing, durable yet tuck away when not needed.

While this items works great for mid-sized dogs, smaller dogs can go under it and larger dogs can go over it. We had to buy another product to stop our small dog from going underneath it.

I purchased this just about a month ago. It looks nice, comes with all the things you need to install it. Installation was pretty easy. But, the mechanism that retracts the gate is wearing out fast. I've had it a month and it is really worn down. I compare it to a second gate I purchased (same gate) that is in a different place that doesn't get much use so the gate isn't opened and closed as much. There is quite a noteable difference between them.

I’ve used multiple types of gates and this by far is the easiest to use and durable. Ended up buying 2 of them. Lock feature works perfect.
