I like these more than the Nuri. Which surprised me because they’re quite a bit cheaper. I make sure to eat a ‘dine right out of the can to get a full idea of the flavor. I wouldn’t quite call these Nuri clones. A few small differences here. I’d say these are a bit warmer on the spice. With a noticeable amount of clove right in the can. The heat lingered in a pleasant way after each bite. They’re not as firm as Nuri. I’d describe them tender but not mushy. If you’re a firm fan it might push you towards the Nuri. These seem like perfect daily driver ‘dine can if you’re a fan of spice. The cost/quality ratio is almost too good to be true.

A little too salty. But overall, at this price, these are an incredible steal. Excellent quality sardines and ingredients. When you open the tin, make sure to find the black pepper and cloves and remove them! You don't want to get a mouthful of those.

These are a bit less spicy than my usual Extra Spiced Nuris, but dollar for dollar, these cannot be beat! Highly recommended!

Nice whole, well packed . Each can has a whole red pepper, carrot, pepper slice clove etc. Great taste. They are spicey warm tasting. Will buy again.

The product itself is a delightful budget alternative to the more famous "Nuri" spiced sardines from Conservas Pinhais with the same use of clove, black peppercorn, bay leaf (or laurel), carrot slice, and gerkin pickle slice with fatty pilchard sardines. There are some scales, but on the whole they are almost undetectable in the mouth. The fish skin doesn't have that same "Nuri" appearance but the taste is a close approximation. As with most spiced sardines you'll have to pick out the clove and peppercorn--especially the clove. Just make sure you don't accidentally eat the intact clove with your deenz! That'll be a load of spice you didn't ask for. (By the maker!) My only issues with my most recent order was that the seller wasn't from Amazon itself and my package appears to have been tampered with prior to packing. So it was handled well by the Amazon delivery driver--gently and with seals intact. The problem was the original package inside had been opened sometime prior to being packed and 10 cans had been removed, so I only received 40 instead of 50 cans. Fortunately, Amazon customer service made addressing the issue easy, but it's still really frustrating not knowing if you're going to get what you ordered or not. :-(

Absolutely love these Perfect texture Love the Moroccan style Sardines aren’t tony, but not huge. Absolutely perfect Low odor. Wouldn’t be a sardine without odor lol. Excellent nutrition Taste… five star Not too oily. Just perfect. Not enough oil to feel guilty about disposing of the quantity… oil adds exceptional flavor when drizzled over rice.

These are fantastic. I wanted something high-quality for everyday eating so I could stop dipping into my "expensive" stash, and these are the perfect solution. They compare well to other high quality spiced sardines. Great texture, wonderful spice, and a quality buy when bought in bulk. Highly recommended for any sardine lover’s pantry.
