Excellent Rugged Watch — Built to Last The Carbinox Vortex is one of the toughest and most resistant watches I have owned. It feels solid, durable, and well-built without being uncomfortable on the wrist. The screen is clear, the battery life is impressive, and the watch handles daily work, outdoor activities, water, dust, and accidental impacts very well. The design looks modern and rugged, and the features are easy to use. It is a great choice for anyone who works in demanding environments or simply wants a reliable smartwatch that can withstand everyday abuse. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Carbinox Vortex. Excellent durability, great appearance, and very good value for the price. Highly recommended!

I’ve owned quite a few smartwatches over the years, and the CARBINOX Vortex Smartwatch is easily one of the best. It’s incredibly rugged, yet comfortable enough to wear all day. The build quality feels premium, and it’s obvious this watch was made to handle just about anything. The display is bright, crisp, and easy to read even in direct sunlight. Battery life has been phenomenal—I can go days without worrying about charging it. Notifications come through instantly, the fitness tracking is accurate, and the health monitoring features have been a great bonus.

Watched started constantly rebooting at 6 months than recovered for a few weeks before it completely died. I contacted Carbinox support and was told they do not support Amazon purchases and i would need to contact Amazon live support. Amazon live support logged the incident and told me to contact Carbinox support and they should address my issue with in 24 hours. I reached back out to Carbinox support and they are ghosting me and not responding. They do not stand behing there product and beware if you purchase from amazon they will not support this at all!!!

I absolutely love this watch, I work with UPS (not a driver) and handle boxes and this watch has held up very well, love the battery life, the large screen with interchangeable faces, makes navigating the watch a lot easier than a tiny screened Apple Watch, and all the other features this watch has to offer, I love being able to monitor my stress level and heart rate, one thing that this watch can do that an Apple Watch will never be able to do is you can set the interval in which the watch checks heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen, and other vitals. Did not have a problem with connecting to my phone, stays connected. However there are some cons First and foremost, the band that it comes with is very uncomfortable when it’s tight it Irritates the skin with long periods of tight wearing as shown I the third picture, has an annoying slack on it with how small my wrist is, however they have a ton of other bands that are compatible with this watch. Next is not being able to change the alarm, and notifications sound, very disadvantaging. FPS is very low, I miss the animated faces Apple Watches did have, otherwise not really that big of a deal. Cannot reply to messages like you could on the Apple Watch. Overall if you are not at all picky with these potential issues then I would highly recommend this watch. Super durable, and love it

A very good solid watch. It's user friendly to select the options you would or wouldn't like to use. The ap for your phone connects easily and provides the ability to see the recorded information like steps taken, sleep, blood pressure, etc. I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet while working on equipment, or other manual labor but think it will hold up very well. I gave it four stars because the watch band strap holder slides down regularly and the end of the band flops around, catches on things and is annoying. The band doesn't go with the quality of the watch.

Overall, the Carbinox smart watch has exceeded all my expectations. It's the perfect blend of style, durability, and functionality. It's a premium device that justifies every penny, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a top-tier smartwatch. This is the new benchmark for what a smartwatch should be. Had a problem with the watch and they were good to replace it.

Firstly, I actually really like the watch itself. The various functions work well and it seems quite durable. Haven't got a scratch on it. I do wish there was a little more customization, so far as what the buttons do and items on the menu. As a guy, I will NEVER need to track my monthly cycle. That stays on the watch menu forever, along with other features I don't use. The selection of exercises to choose from in the fitness tracking part are a bit silly. There's like 100 of them. Jump rope is not among them. However, if you need to track your heart rate during such strenuous exercises as golf, darts, bowling, driving, or standing, it's got you covered. After you've chosen an exercise, the phone screen displays a timer and your current heart rate. No real reason for your heart rate do be shown in small numbers, 80% of the screen isn't even being used. The silicone band doesn't keep the excess band in place at all. The extra band goes through one fixed loop, and then another movable loop. This second loop moves all over during the course of the day and you have to keep adjusting it. The app is overall pretty good, except it disconnects from the watch all the time. I think whenever you go to another room without your phone? Wouldn't be a big deal, except it doesn't reconnect on it's own. If you open the app, it will say connecting but it never will. You have to close the app and reopen it to reconnect. The remote camera shutter feature is buggy, and will not do like you think and work as a remote for your phone app. Instead, it works only with the camera feature within the Carbinox app. This app does not do video, by the way, so still photos only, and not with the camera app you want. In summary, this watch is much better than the cheap china watches I've owned before, but with somehow a less reliable app. Is it worth 3 times the cost of those? I'm still not sure. Note that an app or firmware update could possibly fix most of these issues, as the watch functionality is there (usability is not) UPDATE 6-8-2026 - So, still no firmware update to fix any issues. I think there was one, but I have no idea what it updated. I replaced the band which helped with comfort immensely. 1 1/2 years later, and the watch face still looks almost perfect, which is impressive since it has been exposed to blue-collar working conditions and chemicals. However, the pinholes where the watch band attaches have become warbled out , so the band detaches at any light impact. Like once or twice a day. I expected more longevity from this 'indestructible' smartwatch.

I got this after going through a few smart watches. So far so good. Some reported bad connectivity. But I have had no issues so far. I like to monitor my heart rate after getting a few stints put in. I do interior exterior painting. Most time I'm at 20 feet on ladders and beating and banging around up and down all day. No scratches so far with the screen protector it came with. But I have only had it few days. My first watch lasted 6 months (different brand) before it took a shock that killed it, wouldn't power on anymore. Got another that lasted 2 days before it stopped working (wasn't cheap either). So, I sent it back and got this one. Still not the cheapest, but it has made it longer than a couple days. And I'm hopeful for it to last. Bought on 4/16/24 I'll update if something happens to it. Update: it is 9/15/25, I have beat, banged and smashed this thang off of everything around me on a daily basis. I play drums all so. I have hit this thing many times on accident with a drumstick. It is still going!! The app sucks tho, hardly works. Update 5/21/26 My watch is dead. Seems the back has opened somehow, and water got in and fried the screen. It will still vibrate and all that but no screen. I am going to try and contact the maker and see if they will fix it or not. But it made it a little over 2 years.
