I have used several Rice Select products, including couscous, whole wheat orzo and Royal rice blend. All are superior to other brands in taste and ease of preparation. Square plastic containers make storage very convenient. I prefer to lightly toast the rice in a teaspoon of oil for a richer flavor. Low free starch makes rinsing unnecessary, and grains come out separate and fluffy. The product is grown and packaged in the USA, which I prefer. All in all, this rice is a superior product. Easier to cook than regular rice
This rice appears to be parboiled as it only takes 15 minutes to cook unlike the 25 for most basmati. Has the great, nutty aroma of regular basmati and tastes great also. I like the container that keeps the rice fresh.

Fresh and Cooks Up Tender
This white rice cooks up nicely for long grain and steams up great. I had expected the rice to be more fragrant while cooking, but the end product is fine and I will not hesitate to order this version again.
